so this is what my first embed looks like

You don’t edit the embed here. You make a new one and only set those fields

Yes, by that you edit the embed to show the new embeds content. If you want it to also show parts of the old embeds content you‘d need to provide that too

the problem is that the old embed content is an attached file used in the .setImage() so everytime I edit the embed there's a slight loading

You don’t need to change the attachment, just keep the attachment://… url for the image untouched in your embed

You send croppedImageFile with the edit again. Don’t do that, it’s already there. edit without a files property
