Yeah, the seller should be embarrassed that’s the amount of ram they’re including
I know it’s marked down but I would look elsewhere
Currently putting together a comparable list on PCer... There's already a good handful of things/"issues" coming to mind with the system above
Lol I’m doing the same
I think I would look for a build with a 40 series to begin with
In that price range
If you’re spending that much money might as well future proof as much as is affordable
Welll, a comparable and more sensical system would come to about $1500

Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, GeForce RTX 4070, Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower
Don't you say those two words in that order! >:P
My issues with this are specifically:
- 33% build fee on "offer"
- Ryzen 5800X***
3D*** - unspecified SSD
- 360 AiO (fans from InWin??) that is not available publicly for a CPU that would probably be better off Air cooled
- unspecified Motherboard
- unspecified GPU brand, description says "3080
Ti" - PCIe WiFi card instead of motherboard integrated
- unspecified Power supply, tho 850W apparently
- description says 6 RGB fans, images clearly show 9
Unspecified mobo was one for me
To be said: I did not yet swap the RAM for 32G in this list tho there's a good option (even with RGB)
here.
You could save 30 dollers by not getting RGB
But the rgb makes it go faster 🙃
Also what resolution you gonna be playing in?
If you are gonna be in standard 1440p or 1080p that 5800x is not gonna keep that GPU fed particularly well
Yeah, I didn’t think it looked too great. We’d be looking for something prebuilt, he’s not concerned about super high quality graphics or framerate, but enough to run an fps smoothly. Would appreciate suggestions for something better
Run what smoothly? Minecraft? Cyberpunk? Doom3d?
FPS as in "first person shooter"
He hasn’t said anything too specific, but coop/competitive multiplayer, most taxing one that comes to mind would be Hunt Showdown. Probably also stuff like darktide
Why particularly prebuilt?
Because he doesn’t want to/know how to build one himself?
Did you tell them they can save 33% / 500 bucks by doing it themselves?
I guess I can give him a part list
Could also forward them here in case of any questions or requests - with an investment of about 2 hours they'll be fine just fine having built their own

That's really overpriced for what you are getting
Look at that PC, which has a much better CPU, twice amount the RAM, a GPU that's better at Raytracing.
A GPU that's better full stop
4070ti is equal to the 3090 in pretty much every way performance wise
The 3080ti is only slightly slower but due to its fewer cores than the 3090 it can't trade blows quite as easilly in raytraced content like the 3090 can
Not to mention the CPU of the iBuyPower is more future proof
STOP SAYING THOSE TWO WORDS 😭 xD
Okay "iBuyPower"
You know what I meant 🥸
Okay "of the"
