I've got a surge protector that says it's still protected, though of course who knows if it's actually quality or not. I do not have a battery backup which I will definitely rectify in the future. I've already tried unplugging the thing for awhile, as well as pulling out the CMOS battery as according to one forum post that would help, it didn't. Would both rather not accidentally mess up my computer more or spend the money on a repair shop so yeah. Any assistance would be appreciated.
#Computer booting to BIOS after 5 second power outage

Can you see if it can see your storage devices?
That would be under boot options right? If so I see windows boot manager (m.2_1: MKN SSDTS2TB-D8). I only have a single ssd i should say
Aye, is it all the way at the top?
Only have that option and disabled, I believe so
But it won't boot still?
When I click "save changes & reset" it just goes right back to the BIOS
Do you know which motherboard you have?
Strix B550-F Gaming is what it says on the board
Do you by any chance another PC where the storage device fits in?
I do have my old tower, though no idea if it fits in or not, will need to find where it is in the first place. I'll get to that after work
It would be nice if it did, then we know if it's the SSD or just the boot menu being torn apart
I'm guessing the second one is the better scenario?
Yes, well kinda, some data may be damaged, but at least the SSD would still be working.
1st 1 just means the SSD is just gone.
True, so put ssd in old tower and boot that one, or old ssd in new tower and boot that one?
Put the current SSD in the old tower if possible
