What is the translating of the word "loading" to German?

Lädt?
Lade?

Kind regards,

Alex

Hi Alex,

good question but i can tell you from my experience, that In games, “loading” is completely normal and is often used without being translated but the status of "loading" is "lädt"

#

the game is loading = das Spiel lädt

although many natives still say ladet instead of lädt

„es lädt“ is more professional German / es ladet“ is technically correct, but sounds outdated today

use the modern one with the "umlaut"

i've seen more often the "wird geladen" sentence (literally means "is loaded/being loaded)

you see both „lade…“ and „lädt…“, but also „wird geladen“ or rarely even just „laden…“ but that one seems a bit eh
