How do you prefer to pronounce "Willi", as in Prader-Willi? I initially thought about /ˈvɪlɪ/, but I have been told it should rather be pronounced /ˈvɪli/.
Any insights?

I'm interested also in where you come from. For example, Heinrich Willi studied in the University of Zurich, so I'd assume the pronunciation he used was that of Swiss Standard German.

Dankeschön! So the first "i" as in "Bisschen", and the last onee as in "wie".

From my Pov they are almost the same but as a native I may not feel the difference 🤷♂️
And for the record I'm from the southwest but with connections from Münsterland to Bavaria and having been teaching the whole republic, most areas sound similar 🤔
