how to know the gender of the noun?

I'm brazillian, and here nouns have gender too
but it can be easly identified, because femenine nouns ends with and a, masculine nouns ends with and o
with a few exceptions

but in german?

is there a way to know the gender of a noun? Or just have memorize

You have to learn the gender with the noun (always learn the article with the noun so that you memorise it together and know the gender—so from your pic above, don't learn "Bahnhof", learn "der Bahnhof"; don't learn "Straße", learn "die Straße"; don't learn "Museum", learn "das Museum"). You don't have a reliable system like in some other languages to predict based on the word. That said, there are some traits that give away genders, but only cover a minority of words (albeit a significant minority—still worth learning IMO). For example, any word ending in "-chen" is neuter. Any word ending in "-keit" or "-heit" is feminine.

Just a small addition to avoid any confusion. It's not any word ending with -chen, -keit, -heit, etc. just in terms of spelling. They have to be actual suffixes.
