Hello everyone, I must finish A1 level German by November. What can I do about it? I'm really ready to start and work hard. Please I need some advice. My English is B2+ but I don't know German at all. Just a few words.

Everyone has their own way of learning. I recommend you to take some paper sheets and write down the word in English on one side and in the target language on the other. Put them inside some casing and repeat them daily from both sides. I also used to have a short flip book (not book but yeah idk how to call that) with words which I've been using whenever I had to wait somewhere.

#

Hope it helps a little

#

Also, how did you get a B2+ level in something you've got no knowledge of at all?

#

oh wait sorry my bad I misread this

#

you stated its in English

Buy a book that represents your current level

#

like if your learning the A1 or something just find one thats maybe A1, A1 and A2

you dont need to, im pretty sure youcan find many websites with exercises

#

but if you want a physical book thats ok

vague fulcrum
#

well actually doesn’t matter both of them are fine for me

#

So what about that kind of path:

  1. Learn top 100 word
  2. Be exposed to german as much as possible
  3. Listen music and follow the lyrics
  4. Try to speak and write

if youre intensive, a1 doesnt have that much grammar

To get to b2 in 9 months you need to be studying a LOT

#

Perhaps 6 hours per day, plus immersion and stuff

I meant to write committed

But since you're doing a masters degree I don't think you'll have time for that commitment

Im planning to study tge language in a private school like 4 days a week for a 1 and a2
