Advice on Tax refund

Hey guys so i plan on moving to a different country this coming September and i was wondering if i can get a tax refund after 5-6 months of Ausbildung and if not, do i still need to inform them about my move or is just deregistering from the Rathaus enough?

To my knowledge, yes, you'd get a refund on any income tax paid. You'd have to fill out the forms, though. If you don't do this, you won't have to notify the Finanzamt, no.

i see. i thought that only applies after 12 months but alright.
