Tobo German
And after you learn enough to read some part of the books, you can read books in apps etc. which has build in dictionary to discover and learn new words.
Directly starting to read may be too hard, since you won’t be able to understand most of the things.
Also you can learn the basic vocabulary first like personal pronouns, interrogative pronouns, conjunctions etc.
practice, practice and more practice
Select x number of words, concentrate on them for e.g. a week and then, isolate the words that you think you don't remember well; it can be even the whole list. You learn the definitions, make sentences and try to link it with stuff, like experiences, how they sound like, synonyms etc.
There's no magic trick. It only depends on sleep, mindset (e.g. stereotypes) and simple studying skills that only you know how to develop.
It works like that: Many professional musicians practice for many (low-quality) hours . While those study without concentrating enough, most language learners, instead, overthink, because of the language naturally having some hard parts (=frustration) and 'cause of fake polyglots on the internet that sell fake advice. It's just part of the process; the ultimate goal is to manage to balance between those 2 different situations mentioned
Thanks
Ich empfehle Quizlet. Sie können selbs irgenwelche ,, Wortzettel" machen und offline wie auch Online diese Wortzettel wiederholen. Ich empfehle auch nicht nur die Wörter zu lernen sondern auch die Sätze in den diese Wörter geschrieben sind. Damit werden Sie die Bedeutung des Wortes besser verstehen.
Learning vocab is something every language learner (except maybe for the odd genius) struggles with. Would you tell us what you've been doing up to now to try and learn vocab?
me to but it doesnt help that muh
quizlet
i write the words like 3rows
i read the words multipul times like every method i try just dont work and this is not like english just to see the word and memorize it. i just cant
i study like 110 words for 3hours and i got f every time
I think maybe 110 Words for a day is too much. Maybe its better to reduce the number and increase the ,,quality". You will have time to look for the sentence. I think that writing down the words is the best method. 110 Words in 3 hours - is huge amount. - I think so 🤯
Ya, ich stimme zu, es ist wirklich schwierig.
Du sollst nur ungefähr 15-20 Worte täglich lernen und dann diese Worte üben bzw. durch Texte lesen oder Aufgaben löschen
Mostly you can’t notice when you learn a word. There is no feeling which you feel when you learn. Or there is no only “don’t know” and “know”. It’s not something so sharp.
You will find methods which helps you to learn words. Using multiple methods generally helps more. You can write words, read them in books, listen them, use them sentences etc. Even searching their etymology helps. And I think repeating day by day is better then repeating so many times in single attempt.
You can also study related words together instead of using a random list.
Just keep studying. Day by day you will be better. Don’t expect clear steps in language learning. It’s an organic thing.
I have learned most of the things about English by playing WoW. First I was struggling to understand quests. But after some time I have notice that I can chat with people freely.
Just spend time with language. Study it, use it, read it, listen it etc. And do them while trying to understand.
When you read try to understand . Don’t just carelessly read and expect to understand.
Let, make your brain work on this topic.
I felt similar things when I was studying Bulgarian. There was a word. Prozorets. I was specially repeating it every day. Because I was always forgetting it. I have repeated it so many times. Weeks have passed and I was still forgetting. But after a time I have noticed that I remember it easily. I didn’t notice when I have learned it. You can’t notice that point. But after a time you see that you have made progress
