is there any way in Germany to get to the middle of nowhere without a car?

Have to travel to the German-boondocks, going with the Öffis takes forever because the busses hardly go there. No driver's license // can only drive automatics anyway...Is the only other option hiring a taxi? (and then: is it even possible to get back from there with a taxi?)

Even if the person doesn't go to the extact location, they might be willing do make a detour.

I mean what's left, if there's no bus, you have no car

Taxis will want extra to pick you up in a random location and they'll also want extra to get you outside their "usual range" or area

But technically u can call a taxi to anywhere

Or just do the good ol walking. When I went to school Id have to take a bus for an hour and then walk for another hour, bc living in middle of nowhere

also stimmt in land, und tatsächlich denke ich dass es eine größere unterschied zwischen land und stadt gibt als ost und west deutschland

thanks for the advice. Worked with taxi and then back with bus/bahn + a lot of walking. 🙂
