You can still get tickets cheaply, but you need to book in advance. Some connections that are more popular will be more costly.

that was kind of an exceptional find, but the norm was like 15-25, I could regularly find stuff for 12 euros for example, provided that I've booked a month in advance. But seems to be over now. Sad!

I've been consistently booking tickets with Ryanair for under 30€.
I just paid around 16€ yesterday Krakow to a German airport, buying just 2 weeks in advance.

that I was booking from nurnberg before, and it's much cheaper from there. from frankfurt it's like 5 times more expensive. it's cheaper to use the deutschland ticket from frankfurt to nurnberg and go from there

Ryanair doesn't fly to Frankfurt or Stuttgart from Poland. That must have been a different airline, like LOT, which is usually 100€ or more.

Companies need to pay to land at an airport. The bigger the airport, the bigger the fee I assume.
