who specializes in Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie in germany? are they dentists or physicians? dailydoseofgerman and how long should you study to become one?

Really? How did you make that ou? I just looked it up for OP and found it's 1st normal medicine (~6 yrs), then dentristry (somewhat abbreviated bc you're already a doctor, so, what? 3 yrs instead of 5?), at any rate, you need to be fully licensed both as a doctor and as a dentist. Then another 60 months/5 yrs (obligatory) of specialization, until you're fully recognized (Facharztanerkennung). Is that wrong?

I mean, even if you were already a licensed dentist when you started out, it would still take you 10+ years, wouldn't it?

also its according to some unis and my friend whose majoring in medicine, he wants to become surgeon, but yea dentistry is different course
