Will be visiting Frankfurt so do the sell national train passes at the stations of the counter? Is there any that is unlimite trips for like a week? What would the typical fee be? I want to explore the country as much as I can during the stay so probably will be visiting 5 to 10 nearby cities. Don't want to goo through reservation and other hassle so I want to buy directly at station no waiting process needed and credit card required.

Hey, yes, normally you can buy tickets at a counter at any station. Currently there is the Deutschlandticket, which costs 49 euros and is valid for one month. That should be the cheapest option. However, you have to cancel the monthly subscription in time, otherwise it will be automatically debited from your account. You can also use the "Deutsche Bahn" app for this. And you can only use regional trains, not express trains. I hope I could help you a little.😊

I'm not sure my American Visa card will work in Germany so this is a serious second question.

If not, is there any options for a temporary like 1 week pass? Even 5 days will probably be enough for my trip checklist. 4 will even fit if I rush the travel adn organize it carefully.

Interrail offers passes varying from 1 day to 15 days but they require a credit card and ordering in advance online so thats a bit of a hassle.

I think that you can mostly pay with PayPal. I know that in the "DeutscheBahn" app it also works via Paypal 🙂 Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the regional offers in Frankfurt. As far as I know, where I live there are only daily offers. I also don't know anyone from Frankfurt who I could ask.
