I've heard better things about TU Munchen. Idk how much it helps, but it also does have a branch in Singapore so it can be an interesting option to consider.
Also depending on your language preference, TU Munchen is more flexible since it has some degrees in English too
It definitely helps ! Well yeah i was interested in TU München until i discovered that renting and living in general costs a lot and ngl im not a rich person soo ..
after studying german i guess my english is now schlecht soo .. xD
yeah I mean TUM has the best reputation of those schools, but you'd have to live in München, which is very pricey.
RWTH also has a great reputation. Aachen is definitely cheaper. But I've also heard it's ugly 😅
A friend of mine is actually going to go do a master in Darmstadt
he happens to be visiting today so I can ask him about it if you like. What are you planning on studying?
Yeah i know , im not a rich guy ngl
ugly ? wdym
i visited it yesterday as well ! the Uni looked great and also its surroundings
i felt that it's the center of the city
i'm more between Aachen and Darmstadt , i dont think ill find a good rent with 400 euros in München x)
yeah, I talked to him and he said Darmstadt is a nice city--he mentioned it gets less rain and has no major river running through it, so some of the parks are brown--and good for students, including foreign students.
Darmstadt is still pretty expensive as far as german cities go, but definitely no München
with ugly I mean the city of Aachen is literally ugly (as described by a few different people I've met who've been there)
I was never there myself, though, and I always thought it seemed cool because it's very old and there's some roman ruins there
Ach so i see , but by ugly do they mean there's no places to have fun or like UGLY UGLY XD
same , i'm going this weekend
yeah I honestly have no idea, because in photographs it looks alright to me 🤷 I interpreted it as them thinking it was aesthetically lacking, but you'll get to see it yourself and decide 😄 👍
went to it last week wanted to see if its really that ugly and empty and went all around the city was amazing rlly nice
the area around rwth accomodation and uni is very very nice loads of greenery
Yeah same , I'll go there and confirm the pics dude
Juuhuu great I'm excited
