Also depending on your language preference, TU Munchen is more flexible since it has some degrees in English too

yeah I mean TUM has the best reputation of those schools, but you'd have to live in München, which is very pricey.

#

RWTH also has a great reputation. Aachen is definitely cheaper. But I've also heard it's ugly 😅

#

A friend of mine is actually going to go do a master in Darmstadt

#

he happens to be visiting today so I can ask him about it if you like. What are you planning on studying?

yeah, I talked to him and he said Darmstadt is a nice city--he mentioned it gets less rain and has no major river running through it, so some of the parks are brown--and good for students, including foreign students.

#

Darmstadt is still pretty expensive as far as german cities go, but definitely no München

#

with ugly I mean the city of Aachen is literally ugly (as described by a few different people I've met who've been there)

#

I was never there myself, though, and I always thought it seemed cool because it's very old and there's some roman ruins there

Ach so i see , but by ugly do they mean there's no places to have fun or like UGLY UGLY XD

yeah I honestly have no idea, because in photographs it looks alright to me 🤷 I interpreted it as them thinking it was aesthetically lacking, but you'll get to see it yourself and decide 😄 👍
