Hi everyone
Is it possible to get public uni. in civil engg. courses. I got 62.88% in my bachelors.
Also ...can i get a job in germany? For now i am at A1 level in german. If there is any alumni or the MS student in civil then i would like to contact them.

W.r.t. Uni applications: It varies from Uni to Uni. On the page on the Uni's website where they give an overview of the course of study there will usually be some sort of link/mention of a Prüfungsordnung or PO for short which is a document (usually in PDF format) where they typically explain in precise detail the application procedure and all of the application requirements.
Each Uni and program will have different procedures and requirements but they all typically use some sort of combination of the following criteria to evaluate candidates:
- How closely the candidate's bachelor degree matches the program.
- GPA
- Motivation letter
- Language qualification
The criteria are often defined quite clearly and you can usually have a pretty good idea if you stand a chance of getting admitted.

Very true. You have to compile a lot of documents and it can take a while, especially if it's your very first application.

As far as i know, it may be difficult to get a job at A1 level, however if you speak good English there might be positions open even with A1, especially in your area of expertise maybe.

Getting a job offer is one thing, but, depending on your country of origin, you may also need to get a work visa, and I believe the German government has its own set of requirements for granting those (i.e. having a relevant degree from a Uni they recognize, having enough years of relevant industry experience, etc.).
But the companies you apply to may already be familiar with those requirements and be able to immediately tell you if you'd even be eligible for a visa (because interviewing, evaluating and handing out job offers to people who aren't even allowed to enter the country would be a waste of their time/money).
