Question about Ausbildung in Germany

How many of German residents or people in Germany do Ausbildung if I may ask?

And can you get into an Ausbildung without having any prior knowledge, I mean I understood it like you get into an Ausbildung to learn something from Scratc. So I am trying to find an Ausbildung in the IT branch, does it need any experience? Someone from Germany, a friend of mine told me, they accept you, but you firstly, have to do a 6 moth Prwktikum, then when they accept you and if your fit for the Ausbildung, you get accepted. Is this info true?

If I may ask, what does life look likefor the majoryof German people when they complete Abitur, assuming most of Germans complete Abitur ? What do you do? Go straight to college?
