suggestions for German cartoons, tv shows or movies for beginners

unfortunately most of the more beginner friendly native content is kids content - simple vocabulary with a lot of repetition and visual clues/aids

most of the stuff that's useful to wwatch as a beginner imo is the stuff designed for learners

one readily available one is Extr@ auf deutsch - a cheesy friends-style sitcom written for german learners

^ I can vouch for German Peppa Pig (Peppa Wutz), it was helpful and fun to watch in the beginning. But yeah, after a while it gets too easy with repeated basic vocabulary.

For more "advanced" kids shows, I'm currently watching How To Train Your Dragon in German, which I find fit for my level (B).

Oh, and you could watch the Nicos Weg Series on YouTube based on your level

Yeah, the big animated kids movies are pretty easy to find a German version of. The language is probably not super easy but maybe a bit easier than a movie for adults.

I would recommend Feuerwehrmann Sam since it also have subtitle in deustch and Checker Welt. Somtimes i would just watch barbie deutsch or disney channel deustchland lol
