Hello guys can you help on this sentence I made?

Die beste Rache ist, einem Platz zu erringern, der Sie nicht mehr über Rache sorgen.

the best revenge is getting yourself to a place where you no longer care about revenge.

Aber ich weiß schon, dass meine übersetzung falsch ist. Ich möchte wissen, wie ich diese satze besser grammatikalish formulieren. (Ohne deepl)

I also want to know what grammar point did i used wrong.

"Die beste Rache ist, ..." is rather incomplete. You'd either have to put in an "es", or rephrase "Die beste Rache besteht darin, ..." erringern doesn't exist. "erringen" does exist, but it requires Akkusativ, not Dativ. It's also not a verb I'd use in the context. The relative pronoun can't be in Nominativ, since your relative clause has a subject, "Sie". Apart from the various grammar issues, the sentence is quite unidiomatic. I just sent your English sentence through deepl, and its translation was both correct and idiomatic. 🤷

Thank you. But if i use deepl, i will never learn my mistakes and will be get used on just using it, that's why i opt not to use the app 😞

There is really a lot to be said for using what you know, and then gradually progressing towards more complicated sentences - I speak from my own experience as a language learner here.

Unfortunately, deepl doesn't support the language I'm learning. So, what I do is: I try to simplify what I want to say until I'm fairly sure I can make myself understood in my target language. Then, I put an English version of my text through google translate, and check their translation. If it's too far from my own, I try to simplify further. And then, the result usually makes me slap my head, because I overlooked something fundamental, like the correct conjugation of the verb or something. 🤷
