I don't know, I find they always chose the most boring books ever for dual language things, but never mind. Okay, so, I warmly recommend "Persepolis" by Marjane Satrapi. It's going to be a translation, because the original is either Farsi or French, but good books tend to get good translations (in Germany, at least). It's a graphic novel, and it's an excellent book. @runic garden

^This teacher of German gives good pronunciation tips for the umlauted vowels. Just check her channels for those.
She also does one on the sentence melody, which I think it's equally important.
I would suggest that you record yourself reading some german and post it in #questions. Someone may check that and tell you where you need work on.
And as helpful as these videos might be, they can get you near the ballpark of where you need to be, but listening to a short sentence on loop is probably the best way to get the sounds down.

it's enough that a difference can be perceived when comparing time measurements at sea level vs. those on tall mountains
i doubt you'd be able to reach a depth such that time would double (and survive) but if you factor in the fact that as you get closer to the core it takes less time to go around the earth you'd be able to cheat with time zones very easily
