I was very skeptical about the method at first, but I must confess it's quite enjoyable to go through it

and I also felt like I was actually learning quite quickly

it’s a textbook + audio all in latin

the book itself is structured in three parts

each chapter has a text first, introducing vocab and grammar in context, with little notes in margins directing your attention to things

(e.g. one margin says sth like Italia → in Italiā, making you pay attention to the vowel change in what you’ll later learn to be the ablative)

sometimes there’s little pictures, but never other languages

then there’s some grammar explanations, charts and what not, summarizing the key points of the chapter

and then a bunch of fill-in-the-gap exercises
