But to the point here, it's kind of typical here too: well, the thing in the article is, the one where rural zones lack central water supply. Usually in villages people use their own wells to supply water.

- if you mean [r], the sound e.g. of spanish ⟨rr⟩, icelandic ⟨r⟩ etc… largely no, except sometimes in southern regions (switzerland, bavaria, austria). very often however it is not properly trilled, or only for emphasis
- if you mean [ʀ], the sound e.g. of french ⟨r⟩… yes but only for emphasis, usually it’s much less trilled than in french
