@mint cobalt since you are in a rush, I recommend that you take a look into the philosophy of AJATT (All Japanese All the Time) it's the philosophy I used to study Japanese and is the one I'm currently partially using to learn German. Now I know that it says "Japanese" but you could apply this philosophy to any language realistically. It basically has emphasis on listening and doing things in the target language 24/7. It's not meant for the average person, as consuming content in the target language for like +6 hours a day, utilising and making flashcards to remember new words on the daily is very exhausting. But if you truly wish to reach C1 level in a year, you have no choice but to try it out I think.
Now a couple things I wanna clarify about this philosophy or things I disagree with when it comes to it:

1. Study grammar on the daily. A lot of people who follow similar immersion methodologies like AJATT say that studying grammar isn't necessary, but I think that it absolutely is if you wanna speed up your learning process. Yes you can learn a language by just consuming content, but the process would be very slow.
2. You could do other activities like school or work, as long as you keep yourself surrounded by thhe language, for example, when you go outside, put on your earphones and listen to something in German. The idea is to surround yourself with your language all the time.
3. Flashcards are crucial. They are the best way to memorise new words you learn. A good flashcard app is Anki, learn to use it. Try to make your own flashcards rather than downloading premade decks.
   Good luck, your journey is going to be tough.

Generally stick to your immersion as much as you could
Do Anki daily, NEVER SKIP
Generally when doing Anki, only press "Again" and "Good" buttons, this makes things easier

I'm strongly against this idea of "grammar is not worth it"
Don't try to force output, just do it when ready
Words and sentences that you are gonna learn are gonna come from your immersion if u decide to make your own deck which is the ideal, so always focus

English with an accent is more than enough.
English grammar and srntence structure may be easy, pronunciation however, is not.
I don't see myself ever speaking like an american because there simply is no need to be as eloquent or fluent as a native, since English is just a help to me and not something I need to depend on. Also, as long as people understand what I am saying, it is enough and I don't need improvement in pronunciation. Why go for the 100% with 1000% more effort when you can reach the 90% with 50% effort
