Your souls are just so tasty I couldn't resist I'm sorry
Weren't you a grandma?

and then you need to bring a sacrifice to Marmie
I will give her Ves. đ
Grandmas can be men of science.
You can bribe me with books
You give @hot cloak vibes.
I see.
No, she gives me vibes, it's more chronological that way
Couldn't you have found a less useless sacrifice.
Take my Romeo and Juliet.
how many?
oh my
I thought at least she would be good for something⊠and without soul she does more CS maybe.
Is it the special edition penguin publishing classics collection with a cloth cover?
What vibes does she give you? đ
Owl
⊠I have no idea.
Probably not that special.
What a shame
Vampire to me.
It's ok I'll take it for its sentimental value, I can absorb that and live off of it c:
Penguin Publishing always has good covers. ^^
No but the special classics cloth cover collection is the best, look it up
Lucky me. You get it at the end of the month when I am done reading. đ
I know, I own a copy.
I'm robbing you
Okay, it will perfectly align with a blue moon too !
Go ahead.
Okay
hey @indigo adder
Hello.
wei ghest es dir
I am good. You?
gut
the only vibes i exude are of insanity and feminine rage filled with dangerous urges to run away in a mystical forest and never come back
Noted. đ
HĂ€?
I don't have the English fluency to understand this stuff.
don't worry, neither do i
|| i think your english is pretty good
||
Thank you.
@hot cloakDid you read Dracula yet?
a while ago, i have been thinking of reading it again
https://discord.com/channels/221708975698083841/1028991006047211520
We are reading it currently in the book club. Well marmuri already read it but i am reading it actively
Oo very koel, i'm sure you'll love it! which chapter are you on currently?
I finished 6 chapters so far. Still curious to know what happened to jonathan
And yeah it was a great pick. I like that old customs described in the book. Interesting to read about

Hallo
Ich habe erst in kĂŒrze einen Sprachtest und weiĂ noch nicht, ob ich gut Brief schreibe, oder nicht
Daher will ich meine Botschaft lieber von einem Muttersprachler oder Lehrer ĂŒberprĂŒfen lassen ...
Könnte jemand so freindlich sein, mir zu helfen
??
hi hi ali! feel free to check out #writing and post the passage for correction there, i'm sure plenty of people would be happy to assist you
Thank youâ€đč
of course, happy learning
Your curses feel more like blessings to me
@errant nacelle @merry oxide @kindred iris okay⊠but we all agree that John and Martin should be in love, right?
maybe I will read fanfiction again after a very long time
Oh and I have finished the first season.
I'll start listening to S2 tomorrow then
You will see...
Have you listen to the Q&A?
yep
it actually answered a lot of my questions
Especially regarding the whole format of dealing only with statements and not with the actual research
and I appreciate the fact that the whole story is planned out
The lack of planning or a coherent/canon story is the one thing I hated about reading SCP stories
I am very curious how that story continues in season 2
what are y'all watching
We listen to the Magnus Archive, a podcast.
I should listen to it then as well.
@indigo adder
Your bets of Martin and John ending up as lovers?

witzig
hmm, I'd say so yeah
Omg! Mike!!! â€ïž You know what that podcast need!!
fr... dont stress me out.
what, how
I can't wait for the entire story to progress
What time is up?
Same. ||Sasha is wormed now, right?||
đđ
I dont get those kind of jokes. T^T
||I'm not sure, she seems possessed by something else||
Damn, I thought I missed something important.
@low drum
The entire time I was listening to the q and a episode I knew you'd like it so it was excited for you to hear it also I can't type with my hands right now cuz I have sugar all over them so this is speech to text type thing thank you very much
We will probably find out soon. There is just one thing for sure: Martin loves John.

Why would I be scared of general one it should be scared of me
||who do you think killed Gertrude?||
||I hope it wasnt Martin. Maybe the boss guy? Idk his name.Your guess?||
||oh yeah, Elias is my guess as well||
||Oh, that was his name. Well, maybe it was someone we dosent know yet||
Maybe it was Michael.
Nah Michael is busy being creepy
@errant nacelle are those the cows from the museum? :D~

No worries

In einer Welt, wo Tugend thront so hoch,
Da steht @sage kayak , edel, ohne Frage, doch.
goofy ahh
@slate roost BTW I was gonna mention if you were to include conjugations, declensions and the sort native speakers would know over 100,000 words
Those are the words Ive seen that dont include thousands I never added
yeah might be possible
but when it comes to active usage the pool of words is usually smaller
A very, very large majority of these words are still rather common even if they arent used everyday
They are words you would still see and never think of them as weird even if they are not a daily word
how many were they without conjugations and declensions
You wont see "Sanierung" everyday maybe but it certainly isnt a weird word
10-20 k?
My guess for C1 fluency is knowing about 25-30,000 words
depends if you work in that area as well
but yeah i think i haven't heard it for a few months
From my data I did I would place myself roughly around 18-19,000 known words and from what I can see I believe I could hit C1 when I hit about 25,000
Obviously C1 is more than just vocab but if you understand that there exists a certain number of vocab for a c1 speaker anyway objectively then it is easy to understand
i mean there is also people who cram for the c1 exam and pass it, where you would not think that they are c1 at all
Yes and to me a C1 test or a CEFR test is worthless
it is hard to measure true skill
When I speak to C1 I speak to the objective ability of fluency that it is supposed to represent which exists without demanding a name for its existence ie it exists as a concept irregardless of whatever terms one would wish to appoint to it
How do you guys know how many words you know
I donât know this in my native language
Much less in a foreign language
huh does one go through every single word there?
I did some extrapolation from this website and i counted every word in the dictionary from A-D that I knew
Only actively tho
Its just a website to read stuff and it tracks every word as a new word so it cannot distinguish that essen and esse are in the same family
Ah verstehe
Muss man ja
Lohnt es sich?
Also ohne lingqs kann man es ohne Abo benutzen aber es reicht einfach nicht aus es so zu benutzen
Ah
Ich sage dir nur: ich benutze die Webseite seit 2016
Es gibt manchmal sogar einen Rabatt wo es nicht allzu teuer ist
Also am Anfang des Jahres
ich verwende sie nicht so oft aber ich mag sie immer noch
Es ist einfach zu klein am Handy
Dann probiere ichs mal
Na dann 110 ist der Rabatt lol
Ich hab schon mal die App benutzt aber hab aufhört
Damals hab ich das Abo nicht gekauft tho
Benutzt du es auf andere Sprachen die du gerade lernst
Ja
nein ist es nicht

this is an insult...Lol what fluency are you talking about?? (Superficial Fluency) 25k to 30k in German or English it will be just knowing 1-3% of overall language
or fluency to be among the society who prioritizes material pursuits which restricts the space for meaningful expression and introspection...limited set of basic words and phrases to be slave like a rat. and pay taxes. the same way are most buildings ugly... and look the same.
to be considered fluent in German you should know 90% of German vocabulary which means 297,000 words
Hello @hot cloak, this is a server with over 110000 members, so you can't just ping everyone.
Do you think I should start to write here o practice German even though I am absolute beginner in German?
Know just basic sentences.
Absolutely, great way to practice and improve your language skills. start simple and gradually work your way up to more complex, it's like GYM...no one will judge you, we are trying to better ourselves and body shape... no one is perfect we are all ugly here..
even people who are fluent in German here are acquainted with just 3% of the complete German vocabulary, which amounts to 30,000 words out of the 330,000 words available
Good luck my friend!
Thanks, dude.
We donât need any more trolls đ
I donât know nor care how many words I know in any language but having the vocabulary of an average educated native speaker is definitely a goal people should look to when learning a language
Being able to pass for a native is a great thing, of course vocabulary alone doesnât make you a native like speaker but itâs one step on the path
to be considered fluent in German you should know 90% of German vocabulary which means 297,000 words
Source? đ€
@runic dagger ez
Hi. What does that mean?
You were here before, right? Under another username
Easy (?)
Help to me please. I have too much German gelearn and my English is geruin become. I need a way to find, my Englishskills retostore, because they always worse become.
Hallo ich besuche ein Lernpartner, ich weià nicht wie man das sagt ( learning Partner) aber ja , ich möchte mehr Deutsch lernen..jetzt bin ich im B1
feel free to check out #1065443550004781067 !
Danke schön
If being fluent requires knowing 90% of vocab, which means one would understand almost all words exsiting in dictionaries, which includes very rare words, I think almost no one is fluent in any language ?
(Could you please refrain from labelling me as a troll? I've reached my limit on this matter. If you cannot indulge in thought-provoking discussions, philosophical exploration, and questioning societal norms and sociolinguistics, then just don't talk to me)
This is ridiculous because the majority of supposedly educated native speakers typically grasp only around 6,000 to 20,000 words at most. That's barely scraping the surface, accounting for less than 3% of the entire vocabulary in English, German, or even French. So, you're trying to gauge your proficiency against the level of the average person? Honestly, it's infuriating â the average Berliner or Parisian is clueless about their own language, Visit London, and you'll find that the Queen's English is scarcely heard; instead, the city is filled with Cockney and a variety of other linguistic influences.
My point is that this is a language learning server, and most people on here can only aspire to reach a native like level of fluency.
You have a point but I donât see how this is relevant in the context of learning a completely new foreign language.
To instill inspiration and motivation in individuals, encouraging them not to feel intimidated by a language and its so called 'native speakers.' and just go for it and learn
Of course but you canât be motivated when the goal you are setting is unreasonable.
You have A level in German. Before you can become a novelist or a poet in German you have to acquire vocabulary, grammar, proper pronunciation etc etc. These are all steps to becoming more native-like. Then, of course if you want, you can become a writer or a songwriter if thatâs your thing⊠but Iâd say the majority of people here just want to do business with German people and would be very happy if they pass as native.
I mean, many people here want to move to a German speaking country
This means interacting with natives
Toki Pona (rendered as toki pona[a] and often translated as 'the language of good';[b] IPA: [Ëtoki Ëpona] (listen); English: /ËtoÊki ËpoÊnÉ/) is a philosophical artistic constructed language (philosophical artlang) known for its small vocabulary, simplicity, and ease of acquisition.[5] It was created by Sonja Lang, a Canadian linguist and translator,[5][6] to simplify thoughts and communication. The first drafts were published online in 2001,[2] while the complete form was published in the book Toki Pona: The Language of Good in 2014.[7][8] Lang also released a supplementary dictionary, the Toki Pona Dictionary, in July 2021, based on community usage.
Nice username đ
đšImagine this analogy: Language is akin to a painter's canvas. A skilled painter doesn't confine themselves to just a few brushes and colours; they embrace a diverse range. Now, consider if I told you that you could only use three colours to depict everything. It would undoubtedly be restrictive. Similarly, language mastery involves utilising the entire vocabulary palette, not just a mere 3%. Just as a painter should wield all their tools, the source is me... for me a truly fluent individual should command the entire spectrum of vocabulary. and complexe grammar. and other things i would not discuss here.
but you can mix three colors to make all colors
simplification sacrifices the depth of intellectual exploration that more complex languages provide
im saying this is the easiest (perhaps only) language you can become fluent in
when dealing with a simplified language and relying on just three colors and mixing them - the result is informal speech, slang, and a degradation of linguistic quality, and colloquialisms or the language used by the rappers. or just average person...
Sorry for being a peasant haha đ€Ł
Such individual will never exist. Language is a collective experience
However, communication through language is not merely just "words"
Tones, context, gestures, culture, history potray what the speaker mean
Why is it so important, that one has to master all existing words of a language? Does language/art deem invaluable if it is not "perfect"? If the painter lacks one type of colour, is the painting totally useless, meaningless?
If we could use the 3% to convey the most of what we want to say, why is that a bad thing?
There is an English word called "SprachgefĂŒhl". If one does not know that word, they could express the same idea with other words too
I was a fan of this thing until I learned a little about the development of language, where it has always been fluid and thus imposing super strict language rules along restricting colloquialism/dialects seemed to be unnatural to the development of a language, regardless whether the development is favourable by whom
I side with you
I just wish to have the speech fluency and SprachgefĂŒhl of a highschool native
Then my life with German is done
We all haha
You are A level. You are far away from both a nativeâs and an artistâs grasp of the language. Taking things one step at a time, and aiming for the vocabulary of an educated native, is a good way to approach things.
Three are different levels of language use even among natives; formal, informal and ârapperâ, and itâs great that you can distinguish them. Thatâs why I said the vocabulary of an educated person who is able to command formal language when needed. But not every situation calls for fancy words or language. If you want to know where the bathroom is you want to communicate that in the fastest and most efficient way possible, right? And if lots of human interaction is about communicating simple human needs, whatâs wrong with using simple language?
Aliens use this approach ? đ
would you mind telling me the meaning of the word "pleomorphisim" or "Valetudinary"
no? clearly you are not fluent in English, and by not knowing these words, you are ruining the linguistic quality of English via simplified words!
Hello
Hi :))
How are you?
đ
I was entertaining myself with some anime. This UFO has a really good wifi connection surprisingly
đœ
Oh nice, so you could probably shop for chips from your UFO!
I definitely can
Being fluent actually constitutes knowing 99.9%
Either way that dude is just trolling
Hallo
Yes, Absolutely, language is a collective, but the issue lies in the trajectory of that collective effort. there is a decline rather than an upliftment of language proficiency within the collective, ** Instead of striving for excellence and enriching the language, there's a tendency to settle for mediocrity.**
the language spoken ends up mirroring the conversational norms of the general populace in an average society.
a painting might still carry meaning even if a single colour is missing, but the absence of that colour could limit the painter's ability to fully realise their artistic vision...
not possessing a diverse vocabulary impede capability to effectively express intricate thoughts and emotions and etc...i assume the only sentences you know to ask someone how is he probably just "how are you?" - "what's going on" " what's up?" how's is going". or more slangs..
or the common expression used due to a deficiency of words
Phrases like** "this is the worst thing I've seen in my life"** or "this is the bad day I've had in my life" are just so **insincere **and lacking depth due to their repetitive nature. and lack of vocabulary and complex structures and more things.
I didn't imply that words are the sole crucial element of fluency, however this individual. @left jolt was discussing fluency at 30,000 words. This evokes such a hearty bout of laughter from me.
If you're unable to engage in conversations that provoke thought or challenge the established norms of language and sociolinguistics, then just don't talk to me... false alerter
i think youil find that perspectivist perspectives of linguistics have been debated quite thoroughly
Go apply to those Uni instead of trolling here
he would hate a linguistics course at a university
He started here with a very convincing troll and I believed it but this was too far gone and outdone its just not a funny or believable troll
yeah
also i might add that "This is the bad day of my life" is not a natural sounding English sentence
I intended to convey "this is the worst day of my life"
you had already said that sentence
Blud is buggin
clearly, you may not call yourself fluent in English
hello brit
To me thats the most american sentence alive right now
In light of that circumstance, it would have been judicious of me to abstain from redundancy, as I find myself elevated beyond the employ of those colloquial expressions commonly utilised by the labouring class. and average Joe.
and Indeed.. my fluency is not confined to the benchmarks set by ordinary communities; it transcends those boundaries. so feel at liberty to call me not fluent in English
@left jolt You display a demeanor quite reminiscent of juvenility
haha this is a terrible troll.
wow youâre an arrogant one arenât you
This is actually a mirror of me but with someone using english instead of german
I get it now this is an alt account of someone here
would you mind giving me the definition of the word "smash" in a non formal context
like when i smash my head into the wall?
exactly
Smash or pass.. i think
It seems that this will lead to nowhere and is descending into personal attacks, so I will ask all of you to drop this.
exactly
can I have a high five
leer is here now we can attack her
i just want a high five
Thou art beautiful đ
yay

Li never gave me a high five
honestly sad
i bet bulli wouldâve given me one if I asked
Ich bin ein GummibÀr
ich bin ein GummibÀrchen
I repeat again that you should all just drop this argument as it's not productive.
@sage kayak can I have a high five? li wonât give me one :â(
Das ist cool. Ich bin ein Alien
Und ich bin ein Enderman.
@rustic sand bro come back it was just a joke because u just joined
what?

I just got a vox YouTube recommendation for a lilli video

@slate roost An interesting note, a user learning Korean is at nearly 300,000 known words and says he is C1 not C2
Korean presents an extensive vocabulary of 1,149,538 words, rendering it the second largest language worldwide in terms of** lexical richness**
The preoccupation with the hierarchy prescribed by the Korean Ministry, the TOPIK threshold set at 16k for C2, holds no true significance. Similarly, the assigned values of assessments like DARF, IELTS, and TOEFL DELF... these numbers were formulated to cater to those who choose a path of intellectual indolence - akin to a pig đ· with a sluggish intellect who seek shortcuts and minimal effort in their pursuit of language proficiency.
The Korean language encompasses a staggering 1.1 million words, making the 288,768 ratio merely a fractional 25.13% of the Korean Language. This discerning user from Koreađ°đ· is astute and wise. **appreciating the full potential of their mother tongue **
Of course having a vocabulary of 288,768 words in the German language (330k) will indeed make you fluent to 87% in the realm of Korean language you will be distant away from such mastery.
I, a proficient polyglot, am engaging in the study of Korean as my sixth linguistic conquest currently extends to a vocabulary of around 4,000 words. which is Minuscule
@left jolt 'is at nearly' is incorrect when trying to convey a specific approach to certain words.. it used to indicate a location.. also 'is at' and 'nearly' near each other create a slight** syntactic awkwardness**
not to be rude but what
lmao
Really like wtf!!!
how can i see my progress like that?
Hey could you explain the difference between Sauer and WĂŒtend, since your ability to express yourself is so clearly beyond that of my own (please explain in German)
What were you hoping to accomplish by comparing people who don't spend their lives copy-pasting from Wikipedia to pigs? ||I'm one of the ones who does, for your information.||
One is a flavour and the other is an emotion.
Stimmt nicht
Sauer ist einen Geschmack, WĂŒtend ist eine GefĂŒhl. Besser?
Sauer ist auch ein GefĂŒhl
Joa, war einen Scherz.
Ich bin sauer auf dich

You have prescribed 304 bonks to @hot cloak.
here's a language you should strive to be proficient in: Silence
I feel like the ongoing discussion isn't leading to any reasonable or concrete conclusions and rather mockery from both parties. The most beneficial approach would be to just drop the discussion or consider shifting it to direct messages as it's causing a bit of disturbance in #general-2

You have prescribed 425 bonks to @hot cloak.
Thank you, good samaritan.
Certainly. đ
the substance of the phrase "copy-paster" leaves me inquisitive. I find myself pondering the intent behind such expressions! whether it's to contribute to a culture of stagnation or simply to undermine the pursuit of knowledge?
As VĂ€mpirold said, I would advise we move on.
It is a waste of both our times to argue about this.
Your penchant for sardonic wit is quite evident that I ought to acquaint myself with proficiency in Silence. I must remind you that 'silence' embodies the absence of audible resonance, a state where my textual expressions remain imperceptible
Move on please.

@prime patrol once again I was lied to.

jup
Ich hoffe can oder khedira spielen
und hat er am Samstag immerhin auch hin und wieder schon gemacht
immerhin war die AtmosphĂ€re als Kane eingewechselt wurde herausragend đ
aber auch total lustig
ein Tag bei Bayern und gleich mehr Titel als in 13 Jahren oder so bei Tottenham đ
pls kill me I can't do uni anymore
Would you describe yourself as being devestated?
i thought i was in german-only until i saw vess message and was on my way to report her and get her banned

On your first day of Uni? đ
What would Ves be doing in #german-only silly you
spreading cringe?

Low blow
Kann schon sein
yes.
there was a weird smell and allergeez
shut up
You stinky?
Wtf you just started you have like 30 more years of uni.
Someone sent me a meme where a man goes to Mcdonald's and asks Können sie Englisch?, and says Stabil, Ich Bekomm' bitte einmal ein Doppelpack MenĂŒ. I got kind of confused, I asked Chat GPT if it was correct and it said that the Ein was Redundant and all that is necessary would be the Einmal. Is that right?
no, in the class
ChatGPT doesn't really know German, I wouldn't recommend using it for such.
faq chatgpt
This FAQ explains rules and advice for using text AI tools such as ChatGPT.
- Do not answer any questions by using AI-generated text.
- Do not ask for AI-generated text to be corrected.
-
No fact-checking: Tools like ChatGPT are very good at writing texts and often provide answers that sound good, but they are not capable of fact-checking their own answers.
-
Fake information: Itâs very common for these programs to make up fake or incomplete information, which is explained convincingly but is mostly wrong.
-
Non-deterministic: The information is also partially randomly generated, meaning that if you ask the same question multiple times, you will usually end up with different answers.
-
No language knowledge: It shouldn't be used for grammar or vocabulary questions, as it doesn't understand linguistics, nuance, or how a native speaker might actually use a given word or grammar point.
-
Missing context: When correcting texts it needs to understand what the writer was trying to express. As such it may miss mistakes or correct things that don't need to be corrected.
-
It delays the development of important skills in language learning.
Relying too much on AI generated texts or solutions may get in the way of learning the necessary skills of language acquisition, such as how to look up words or phrases in a dictionary, using critical thinking, or actually applying learned concepts. -
AI is not designed to guide learners.
If you ask an AI a question, it will provide you with information, whereas if you ask a human, they will ideally ask you to show your understanding and offer advice on how to find the answer. -
AI output requires scrutiny
AI output must be verified, but beginners to German or to language learning often lack the knowledge or experience to do so.
- Ask ChatGPT to come up with some story ideas that you can write about.
A) i know precisely which video you mean
B) "einmal ein DoppelpackmenĂŒ" is infact normal
that is indeed something people say
infact "einmal DoppelpackmenĂŒ" without ein sounds off
but with some other items it can be alright
Get better soon Vessy đ« đČ
Yes. The âeinâ is often omitted when you are reading a list of parts, for example.
3x Kondensator
2x Widerstand
1x Platine
1x Chip
tyyy
âeinmal (specification) Platineâ and âeinmal (specification) Chipâ, the âeinâ is unnecessary here
So words that are naturally plural like cheese don't get an ein?
Or something like, Einmal Coke, Einmal ein DoppelpackmenĂŒ. and if I wanted two, Zweimal coke, und zweimal DoppelpackmenĂŒ?
Lol
or something like ich bekomm' bitte Zwei DoppelpackmenĂŒs?
cheese is not naturally plural
Hmmm, personally Iâd leave the âeinâ out everywhere here, but the first one could go either way I suppose
it's a mass noun is what it is, perhaps
i mean i'd not say coke
i'd order einmal eine Cola
Do Germans call Coke Cola? How would they know if I wanted Coke or Pepsi
You could just clarify...
HĂ€?
Ok, Im starting to kinda understand it. but if I wanted two would it be Zweimal Cola or Zweimal eine Cola?
zweimal Cola is what i'd say
keine Ahnung wann ich das letzte mal wen gesehen hab, der sich iwo Pepsi gekauft hat :p
Sinalco eher noch
So, just to end it off. Einmal ein DoppelpackmenĂŒ, Zweimal Cola, Dreimal Big macs
mhm
thx
Dreimal is more specific?
hm no i don't know why i'd prefer drei over dreimal there, probably doesn't matter much
i probably do say dreimal Big macs in practice too, atleast some of the time
but when i think about it, drei sounds a bit better to me. đ€·

The dead chat that will never be alive again
They said that is an alternative version but I didn't see ever any person here no matter what time I came or what occasion it was
Oh that's just because I eat everyone talking here, I apologize for the inconvenience

Then how can it be that the messages above you are not from yourself.
Your apology is not accepted unless you eat me
I'd guess there's a plan from the admins to keep the chat active as much as they can but that is not enough
No one here make a single conversation with at least 3 sentences
I apologize if there's misunderstanding on my behalf on what your saying but there isn't quite a "plan" to ensure #general-2 to be active 24/7. As #general (the main conversation medium for individuals) fosters multiple simultaneous conversations it can get both chaotic and overwhelming for individuals. #general-2 is more of a safe spot where the atmosphere isn't quite as intense or chaotic so a person could refer to this channel if they prefer a more tranquil environment to converse in with someone and not get their conversation disturbed every few sentences.
đ @opal sequoia Can you confirm the moderators have a big super secret plan for #general-2 ?
Lies, Arrem threatens me to write here at least once a day.

What big super secret plan?
Sounds great.
I think it is something between the mods and the helpers tbh. It is super secret and I just know something about it cause Bulli is talking in his sleep.
Are you hiding in Bulli's walls?
I am terribly sorry, my grandma seems to not eat her medications on time no matter how much I advise her. Accept my apology on her behalf for the time being, I'll have a talk with her on this tomorrow morning.
Maybe.
I am very grateful Detective! Please do so. And let her know to bake some pizza... I am starving.
Of course, don't mention it
Good point of view
Thank you, I hope I cleared the confusion
I realized that this app consumes a lot of battery charges
đïž
I think you did
And I'm very grateful đ
Will you confirm?
đ
Bottfried my beloved
On which episode are you now?
60
And you Detective?
You?

I haven't been listening đ
oh,I thought you would.
Enjoy it. đ
Harold doesn't need to listen to the story because she is in it
Are Martin and John already together?

Jumping to conclusions smh
I stopped listening after 2 , my school is about to start so I have been studying for the next class to get a headstart. It completely got out of my mind
Wow spoilers, thanks a lot Rin. đ€
VĂ€mpirold is Harold?
Noted.
Ban?
đ Oh... well ke me updated if you start again.
Mori please go sneep wzF
Yes I will ban everyone you love. We'll start with szew takowski.
I'll be sure to
Now he can just stay awake tbh.
Wait no, can you just ban anyone who they've talked to instead? I want to get to the front of the queue.
But everyone loves her.
I have to do calculations.

Ahhhhh. Thank you Arrem.
Yeah, and you just got her banned.
You have that for me?

So I can have her for myself in my DMs... nice.
No, only for aleoumbi.
Ah phew.
I can confirm, the command literally works only on her.

Damn, was just curious.
Perfect for the occasion! Now, for your first question; if a person eats half a baklava every 8.46 seconds from midnight till 8 am, how much regret do they have?
Ăhm... Ăgypten.
I love you too grandma
I will get back to you tomorrow with the answer.
remind 2023-08-15 8:00 CET ^
Okay @errant nacelle. You will be reminded in 10 hours, 30 minutes and 2 seconds.
Enjoy the Baklava.
I'll put the question in action and see whether the answers are correct or not.
@deft wedge you too
Oh, no, I will use the subjects in Harold's basement for this.
The next time I eat baklava myself will be with you.
I hope it will be soon.
HĂ€?
Calculate the prior question you were assigned, you have till tomorrow twilight. If you calculate it correctly I'll spare you for the time being and forfeit to you all my pistachio ice cream and studio ghibli doodles
The rewards sound great, I will try.
@rugged cypress
I will sleep now, have a nice day!
Sleep well and take care! Remember to check inside your walls just in case a vampire is living in there
Already bought an assortment of garlics, don't worry.
how thoughtful of you to take precautions if only it was that easy to get rid of me

Fair.
I miss u too
@errant nacelle, 10 hours, 30 minutes and 1 second ago
You asked to be reminded about "^"
[Jump to message](#general-2 message)
Hi
Now, through rigorous calculations and contemplations, I have come to the following conclusions;
1 - That's a lot of baklava.
2 - Seeing as it's through the night, are you speaking from experience, vampire?
3 - If I ate what I think is roughly 1702 baklavas over the course of 8 hours, I think I'd die.
My answer;
None, because they'd probably be dead.
Where are my pistachio ice creams and Studio Ghibli doodles?
Hello.
Death by baklava
I'll start playing Brahms at maximum volume. As a classical music fan, even I am repulsed by his orchestra works.
Mmm
Rin BETTER
@klausv3 hi
That is correct.
@rapid night Ich weiss nicht yet, manchmal ein Stadt similar to Breda in die Niederlande. Nicht weit weg von DĂŒsseldorf oder Frankfurt. Meine Mutter hat Freunde im DE, so hopefuly, sie kann hilfen.
Not a big city hopefuly
haha, yeah, mit mein terrible Deutsch, i rather try to use denglish instead
The owls with the ice cream and doodles are on their way
Köln haha
Köln ist sehr gut, dirrect link to Prague baunhof
Sie hat fĂŒr ihre GröĂe sehr viel Kultur zu bieten
ich mag es, also ist nicht weit von der tschechischen border entfernt
Noooo, could I have Vivaldi or Tchaikovsky instead
wÀre ein interessanter Ort zum Leben
ich denke schon, i'll consider it highly
Liegt es auf der anderen Seite von Deutschland, haha
Ich denke
Leipzig
Dresden
Oder niremberg
In die nÀhe sind
Niremberg ist gut auch đ€
ich mag Niremberg, i visited Niremberg once before
bedankst ^^ i'll look into it, i took a screenshot of the cities
danke*
bedankst is dutch, sorry
wow i'm a language mess
exactly xD
i was planning to move to Netherlands to my partner, but we broke up yesterday and i'm already in the process. i quit my job by the end of November, so i decided to keep things moving
Germany is a good move from czechia id gather lol
yeah, i believe it will be easier
the housing problem doesn't seem to be as big too
and i have people i know in DE, so that will help
Will at least make it easier
I have lots of family in germany and lived there for a while
But i moved to us
and german language sounds very natural to me, i love languages. having A1 certificate will be helpful at least a bit
to US?! wow!
Not hard as german citizen haha
In milwaukee wisconsin now
Building their aircraft carriers and nuclear subs XD
wow đ that's wild
If i got degree in us tho idk owe 100k
But in germany paid 0
oh yes, that's true, if i get a degree in czechia i would pay 0 as well
Better system lol
Do you like beer @rapid night
Ambulance here is 1000 dollars
In germany its like 75 euro and if u dont pay they forget about it and if i spend a night in hospital its free rofl
World is weird
wow, that's crazy
in czechia you don't even pay for ambulance either
it's one of the reasons i would rather go to canada, at least they have healthcare
Who doesnt
Have you tried new Glarus
Milwaukee has best beer in us
Itâs only sold in Wisconsin
Better then reinheitsgeböt lol
Spotted cow is the shit

Leinenkugels beer was also originally brewed by a German man
But now itâs sold out to a large corporation so maybe the formula has changed
Thats partly why im in milwaukee family moved here
Interesting đ
Milwaukee is nice
Milwaukee was biggest german immigration city tho in us
Really wow
From 1890s to 1940s
I never knew that
Yeah itâs sad there is so much crime here in Milwaukee and Chicago too
Hahah very American đ€Ł
I know someone who parked their car in downtown Chicago and someone broke the windows on their car when they came back
And they had nothing in the car lol
Cant feel safe without it in car lol my work is in ghetto and gotta go in at 2 am sometimes to witness melt
People are insane
Yeah I think a lot of crime happens because of money and things are so expensive in US
and also people are just dumb
Poverty
then switzerland should be violence heaven
yes
Yeah Milwaukee is segregated asf
Look at racial map
one factor is racial division and segregation
Yeah
the marks of segregation are still super evident when looking at neighborhoods that are poorer or are food deserts
Yeah itâs like that in all the cities I have been to across US there is poor neighborhoods with minority groups
There is no doner in Milwaukee?

They dont do it that way here with eastern food
Turks have good food
Its either on a pita

Or in a bowl
They have some good lamb shank tho
Milwaukee tho u can actually get some german food
Not in rest of us
Been trying all the schnitzel
Do you have any favorite German restaurants đ
I miss buying it premade at store
Schnitzel is life
Schnitzel is love
In milwaukee?

I will stop there
Maders is good just overpriced
Taki BEST!
Lots of bierhalls really only place in us
Wow I never knew how much German influence had on Milwaukee itâs so interesting
RIN AN ALLER BESTEN
*AM
Well cause you made a mistake that dosent count and proofs I am right. đ (English mistakes are not countable of course)
nooo not fair, M is right next to N, I misstzped
I am never fair. Muhahaha⊠I am the darkness.

Rin for the win! You are the best!

Thank you, thank you.
Complain more and I'll give you Bach's Toccatas and Fugues- wait no.
To suggest that Bach's music would make me falter is nothing short of naivity since there's nothing in existence that is able to bore me even in the slightest. Give me your worst, I fear no one
Alright, let me get out my Paganini songs.
Hallo the darkness, ich bin neu hier
Paganini
Panini
Paganini is such an adorable panini, I want to grill them and eat them with tomato soup
HÀÀÀ?
Same
But clean it in the Bach before you Grill it.
I'm confused.
Of course, I'll also make some chopin chow mein on the side
I could also top it off with some leftover Mozartella, you could never go wrong with some cheese
Id like some Rote Beethoven, that would fit well
Nom nom
@pallid violet Keep in mind that chain spam isn't allowed here.
At this rate you might aswell make a Liszt for it.
Sooo true, I'll make sure to make it as soon as I can find some paper, I think my grandma has haydn it behind the cupboard
Ah, Schubert-er make sure.
||I'm dying inside.||
|| of course, all of these references are getting really hard to Handel
||
I love all of these references. đ
||You're really unRavelling a long list of composers with this, aren't you.||
I think I'm going insane.
Hallo
Are you going to go through the whole liszt?
I'm terribly Sorry, but we've already used that one.
Better place to ask is #942470380692590632.
Danke schönâ€ïžâ€ïž

Guten Morgen
Meanwhile 12.23 am = moin :')

Hi everyone
It doesn't really mean morning (at least anymore), translates more as hi.
Memories
Ik ik. Ich sage auch Mahlzeit, wenn es frĂŒhs/abends ist. Nicht nur wenn's mittags ist bzw. Man am essen ist
Hallo
How are you my dear
Iâm good hbu
|| this is Verdi true, I like mentioning the late composers names and listening to their music for utmost clear skin and immortality||
||What an Elgarnt concept, though I am Perity sure it isn't medically advised.||
||wzF Antonio going to believe what I said? You will pay the price for questioning both the legitimacy of my statement and outrageously dismissing the power classical composers hold
||

Iâm good too
Where are you from
US
Alright, what are you doing here
You also like Florence Price? Nice. ^^
Ja, I have heard a few of her songs. She's pretty koel
@rugged cypress you're getting cooked noooooo
@rugged cypress du bist zum anbeiĂen.
Look she's not denying it.
I would like to take a bite.

@humble sandal đ this is not a dating serverâŠ
shes a vampire
You're all cooked.
My lipgloss has alot of arsenic and cyanide, that would be a horrible idea
I won't complain. ^^
Am I the only one who finds this uncomfortable?
Not at all.
Not at all uncomfortable or not at all only you? đ
The latter.
nope
đ
Nahh
I apologize if it may have come off that way or caused you discomfort, I was only saying the previous statement again. ^^
All good. I'd appreciate it though if you guys could please keep that kind of stuff in your D.M.s if you are going to say it, otherwise makes the chat very awkward.
The person isn't in my DM and neither was the chat awkward before you declared the statement made you uncomfortable. However, I'll keep that in mind. Funny how you weren't bothered by the person who first said the comment. đ€
Sorry, I mistakenly viewed your message as being in a different tone since you've posted flirtatious comments to Harold before. I am sorry for the disturbance, I'll just ignore in future.
Anyone here listen ot German music outside of stereotypical classical compsoers and opera? I taken a big liking to Heidi Bruhl.
yes
WHat do you think of Heidi Bruhl @left jolt
Who is that
are you talking abt my gif or the message I was replying to...

I had to find out how the humans live
for my alien studies
So I'm guessing you found a lot of sitting down and playing stuff, sitting down and watching stuff, walking and texting, eating junk food, staying up until late hours, sleeping until late hours, and repeat?
I'm sorry you had to go through such a boring study.
no, he met some dumb humans like me
and regretted his decision

<@&305455824174710787> unsure?
Nah.
Hallo
downloaded a Russian A1 book and the grammar makes German look like child's play
So it's good or bad ?
interesting but difficult
How ?
lots of stuff to memorize. it has more cases than german. spelling rules etc
Oh .
Got you !!
at least it's not Finnish, which has 15 noun cases
viel SpaĂ beim lernen
it's not so difficult once it's understood
