I think verbs are pretty straightforward, but there are many niche rules like for å and til å and when to use them; with nouns, I have never really struggled with them because, honestly, I learned Norwegian grammar after going through der, die, das in German, so at that point I was pretty used to the whole grammatical gender situation (within Germanic languages, of course); and with adjectives, I also found them pretty straightforward, however, again, niche rules like saying det nye huset instead of det nytt huset had me in a choke hold for a while
