Sie kämpften durch die Stängeln, dann durch den Hanf, und danach den Hopfen. Der Teufel hinkte von Geralt weg.

Plötzlich ist (der beste Charaktar, natürlich) Rittersporn da! Oder ist er da? Geralt hörte der Stimme Rittersporns und folgte dem Teufel nach. Aber was ist los? Es gibt ein Problem für Geralt - es gibt mehr als ein Pferd (und auch andere Menschen als Rittersporn)! Geralt wurde von den Pferden niedergetrampelt. Er ist mit dem Kopf aufgeschlagen und alles wurde schwarz...

Langsam wachte Geralt auf. Er ist verbindet und konnte nicht viel bewegen. Er sah sättellos Pferde und hörte Menschen, die über Mais redeten.

Was wird passieren? Wird Geralt sichselbst lösen? Wo ist Rittersporn? Und wer, genau, ist Lille?
