I woke up this morning to find that the main chassis of my Pebble time steel had split open. It looks like whatever adhesive that had kept it connected has failed. I wanted to know if there was a quick fix. I wanted to know if there is a quick fix. I don't care about keeping the water tightness anymore just so long as the watch can continue to operate. The screen and everything is just fine.

Thanks for creating a new help thread. Someone will likely be along soon to assist. In the meantime, have you checked https://help.rebble.io ?
Once your issue has been resolved, please update the thread title to include the word 'solved'.
Are you sure the battery isn't swelling?
That's the only reason I can think of it splitting like that
I'm going to check. Is it okay to carefully remove the screen to check inside?
I'm not sure, I don't know enough about these watches
I think the screen is glued to the glass on the Time Steel
So I wouldn't try to separate that, otherwise you may risk breaking the panel
Battery seems okay
I can see it with my flashlight. I feel like I'd be pretty obvious if the battery had become a pillow.
There’s two ways this happens. Spicy pillow, or glue failure (the glue is adhesive tape on the PTS).
Most are the battery.
But I have had a Pebble 2 screen almost fall out due to glue failure.
If you’re convinced it’s not the battery, then glue it back together with B7000 or Sugru, or new adhesive tape. New tape is way harder as it’s fiddly.
I had the same problem with my PTS 2 years ago, it was the battery swelling and I had to replace it. Ended up using B7000, which worked great until the replacement battery started swelling 🫠
you can take the front of the watch off, there should be a ribbon cable connector you disconnect
Thank you thank you 🙏🙏
Okay so I opened it up.... How do I get the screen connected again?
