The Weather Channel app shows in companion app but not on watch

I have an original pebble. I subscribed, but don't see the weather channel app in the watch. I am seeing forecast data in the timeline. Tried going through the boot.rebble.io process several times. Tried pairing/unpairing bluetooth. Even tried factory resetting the watch. Is there a way to get the weather app to show up on the watch?
