Wow those are quite small aren't they! Looks nice!
Yeah I could imagine! Working at a small scale is quite a challenge
I cut one of my smallest paint brushes down to a few hairs! But I love it!
Thank you companion cube. I've always loved you. (I just realized you are a companion cube.)
I used to go by Captain Cube in here, but I resigned my commission
Chrono Wizard is my current D&D character class ๐
Lol adorable! Ooo! I'm currently a fighter!
Nice! You play too? For how long? I've never played a fighter yet but it sounds cool. I'm sure someday I will...
Love Dnd! I'm usually a cleric or rogue but the first I ever made was a fighter!
Awesome! I'm usually a spellcaster of some kind, but I haven't tried cleric yet either. I've been meaning to though next chance I get! I think my first character was a monk.
Oh that's fun! I've never been a monk but had one on my team! Lots of fun!
Are you playing with people in person? Or online? I've got a little bit of both going right now, but my "home game" is not D&D, we're using some other hybrid thing. I don't much care though, I'm just happy to get together with some buddies every week or two!
What draws you to the cleric and rogue classes?
Irl! Usually! I like playing regardless! It isn't as much about the class for me as it is about making a character! I deeply enjoy making a whole person and then getting horribly attached... THEN picking a class that works for them lol
To me, Cleric= Eve, Rogue= Doc, Fighter= Ryu!
I have a strong video game background, so I've tended to take the opposite approach when building a character... start with a class that sounds fun to play mechanically within the rules, and then come up with a basic backstory that accommodates it, but once the roleplaying begins I usually end up fleshing out their backstory a lot more as inspiration strikes! It's a very interesting process either way, but I would like to give your method a try sometime. I think that's more of an actor/theater approach to building a D&D character, which is not my background, but it sounds fun!
My current character is an owlin wizard who grew up in a city of elves and wants to understand the fundamental nature of the universe. He found his way to a group of adventurers named the G.O.A.T.s who all came together to solve a mysterious plot involving a necromancer and some magical meteors that fell from the sky.
The party is currently in a city of dwarves on a secret investigation, but he got a little distracted by getting a date with a harengon sorcerer that they travelled with by caravan on the way there ๐
I'm a huge Video game nerd too! It's an interesting concept!
Hahah! Not the traveling caravan!!
LOL we spent almost two whole sessions on the road... there were several encounters. It was enough time for my wizard to impress her with his magic skills ๐
But it was mostly bad weather that slowed us down
Fantastic! Hate when bad weather happens. I currently have a musical campaign with everyone being bards. and it's all based in a fictional land of music. currently everyone is trapped in hotel California and they can't get out
Oh wow, that sounds wild!
I love how creative that is... and everyone as bards is insane ๐คฃ
Are you all livin' it up in the Hotel California?
It is amazing! We've really enjoyed it! They are actually stuck in the mirrors on the ceiling puzzle and they are trying to figure out how to kill the beast.
That's awesome
We're really loving it! The real kicker is the gods of this world are simply just kiss. and the big bad that I can't tell my friends about are going to be the Bee gees and they're upset because disco died.
That sounds like a lot of fun!!
It is! ๐ Thanks for looking at my stuff! If you wanna be friends my requests are open!
Just tell me you're the DND cube person in your text so I know!
Finished product!
Beautiful! Thanks for the update!
