Alt tabbing resets my resolution to native (from 1680x1050)

I normally play kovaaks at 16:10 1680x1050. Starting today, when I alt tab to desktop or any application and go back to kovaaks the resolution resets back to native 1920x1080. Is this a bug with an update or something wrong with my setup?

Hi, I'm experiencing very similar behaviour (also on 1680x1050). Also when I tab back in the screen is on 1920x1080 but the application is on 1680x1050 and the rest of the space is filled with black bars (on right side and the bottom).

@fringe cloud also there's a lot of flickering when you alt tab "back to kovaaks" from other apps

Would be good for the user experience if it's addressed.
