My name is Danny and I am the new Community Manager for the TBNR Community! I'm excited to implement numerous positive changes to the server and make it an even better place. I'll be all ears for all your feedback and suggestions on how we can improve the server. Let's work together to make it an even better place.
It's been a whirlwind of a week, and we want to be as open and transparent as we can moving forward, so here's an introduction of some of the most recent changes.
Rules
Some adjustments have been made to the #📖║rules but they reflect what was in place before although you may notice that the server no longer allows swearing. We realize that some people feel that minor swearing is okay but moving forward we are challenging users to be more creative with how they communicate to each other. Our entire goal is to make this server a positive and welcoming space for everyone.

There is now a dedicated channel for video ideas and suggestions! We want the Discord community to have an input as to what gets posted to YouTube and more. Head over to #1076289242348671106 to see the first four official community polls!

We wanted to liven up the Discord a bit more and add some user made Fire Nation 
content so….
We are hosting an 🎨 Emoji Making Contest! 🎨
The criteria for the contest are as follows:
1️⃣ The contest will run from the time it is announced until 3 weeks out. The hard cutoff will be <t:1684270800>
2️⃣ The emojis submissions SHALL be the proper dimensions in the post. We will not be editing size so please upload the proper size or it will be disqualified. The post requirements are 128x128.
3️⃣ The emojis SHALL be non NSFW (guns, drugs, alcohol, sexual or other references will not be allowed) and the emojis must relate to Preston, Brianna or any of the other creators. We don’t need basic emotes, we can add those ourselves. The staff team also reserves the right to determine any other criteria deeming the emoji not fit for the community seeing as we can not cover all specific examples in one post. Just use common sense and it will be ok!
4️⃣ You may only submit 5 Emojis total that are made by YOU. Anything past 5 will be deleted and not considered unless you delete the previous submission yourself. Your submissions MUST be in one post. So if you decide to make a different one it is on you to remove your previous submission and reupload it. The poll showed that you all want to post submissions in a text channel, which can turn cluttered very quickly as opposed to a forum, so we ask that you please abide by this.

Absolutely nothing but positives! We will continue to improve and enhance the Discord server, taking inspiration from suggestions submitted by you, the community - but only in areas that need it! #1080148653450207313 is doing some amazing things!
Are you going to change up the Discord again?
No. We’re acutely aware of how important things (such as role names, ranks, permissions and the like) are. We’re going to be VERY cautious about any changes we make, and ensure that we don’t just change things just for the sake of it. We will propose changes before implementing them.
**What is your goal for the Discord server? **
Our vision is to have a place that is great for new members to join and meet new liked-minded friends, but also remains a great place to socialize with friends for those that have been here some time!
We have noticed with the increased use of polls and discussions with the community that the changes/adjustments that we have made to the Discord have definitely been a lot better received than previously, so we’re going to keep doing that.
Will we still have game nights, contests and things like that?
Absolutely! Game nights particularly have been a real HIT!

It has very recently come to our attention that emails are being sent to individuals outlining a potential interview for positions within TBNR from jobs@tbnr.works, and posing as an actual TBNR recruitment employee. This sometimes is accompanied by an attachment outlining the “job” details.
THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC and not from an official associate of TBNR.
The email asks the recipient to purchase an iPhone 14/14 Pro Max and an iPad Pro - and that these will be reimbursed on starting within the company. This is not legitimate.
Please be wary of any emails that you may receive which state these details or similar, especially if you have not applied for such a position. We are actively investigating this.

Simplified Rules:
We've simplified our community rules to make them easier to understand and follow. This was changed due to us wanting to make it easier on new members, and our goal is to create a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone.
Personalized Moderation:
We've taken a step toward more flexible and personalized moderation. We've done away with public punishments to create a more private and respectful environment. Now, our dedicated staff members have greater freedom to address rule violations in a way that fits each unique situation.
To ensure fairness and consistency, we've established an internal system that guides our staff in determining the appropriate actions for rule infractions. This system is designed to make sure that every decision is well-thought-out and fair, maintaining a positive atmosphere for all members of the community.
** Introducing ">report" Command:**
We're introducing a new way to report issues. You can now use the ">report <user> <reason>" command in the general chat to report problems to our moderators. This will alert our staff with the "Moderator call" role for quicker responses. Please note this command is for getting our staff members attention ASAP for reason like such: spam, raid, slurs, ect. Though, what's going to happen with #1083943658564354150? Since you can report most community behavior with this command, report tickets are now ONLY for outside reports such as: DM Ads, Spam (in DMs), ect! I've seen all of you begging for a new way to report people instead of using tickets, I really hope you enjoy this one! 😄

Left eye has astigmatism and it's my dominant eye (20/60 vision) my right eye has 20/30 vision (near perfect, no astigmatism). So my entire life my eyes have been exhausting each other seeing things completely differently. Hello Fire Nation!
As you may have seen, we have some new staff roles! We have reworked them to make more sense for the community we have built and overall making the teams abilities that much more recognized, concise, and affective.
With this, here are the new roles if you haven't seen:
**Administrator **- Overseeing the staff team as a whole and assisting Community Manager in tasks both internally and externally
Senior Mod - 3 moderators overseeing the functionality of the team and managing all events created by the team
Moderator- Moderating the chat and creating / running events for the community
Trial Moderator - New members of the staff team performing a trial period prior to becoming a full moderator
This change was primarily to remove the role of helper, which was something I was never a fan of in a Discord server, and making our team on the same level overall both in talent and function.
Applications should reopen soon in a new format that makes it easier for you to submit and us to review!

@everyone Just a heads up as a user was just banned for it. I will NOT tolerate talk of self harm or self harm encouragement. There's a difference between someone bantering and going "kys" because they're unintelligent and can't come up with something else and when someone says I want to die with you and discusses how they harm themselves. There are people here who struggle with depression and the last thing they need to deal with is someone talking about how someone else is going to self harm. If you need to talk to someone call a crisis line or find a chat room that has trained experts ready and able to talk to you one on one and give your resources to try and minimize that feeling. I know as someone who's fought with depression and thoughts like that for almost 21 years how intrusive thoughts like that can be and there are systems and people in place to help you fight them. This UHC Will be comprised of 50 teams of two players, fighting to dominate a shrinking 5000x5000 map
INFORMATION
Teams will be set up in choosable teams of 2, the remaining players who have not selected a team will then be randomly assigned
When Assigned to a team, Join the same UHC Voice Channel in the discord (Channels will be opened after the game starts) - DO NOT MOVE INTO OTHER TEAMS VOICE CHANNEL
PVP will be disabled for the first 10 minutes of the game, along with the border remaining stationary. After the 10 minutes are up, PVP enables and The map begins to shrink for the next 50 minutes.
Rules of the Discord Apply to rules in game, no swearing, advertising, disrespect, etc.
Hacking, or otherwise Modifying your game to give you an unfair advantage over others WILL result in a ban in game, and in certain situaions can lead to a ban in discord
If Frozen by a staff member and we feel the need that you have to be screenshared, Logging off or deleting files on your computer while frozen WILL result in a ban. When Frozen, move into the "Help I am frozen in game channel"
MiniMaps are Not allowed
Xray or Xray Texture Packs are Not allowed
Togglesprint and Togglesneak are allowed
Changing your Gamma Is allowed
