yeah cont during take off and then back to off after a certain altitude i think

Cont before takeoff, off when doing the after takeoff flow or as needed (e.g. storms)

cont also before landing, and when using anti ice

if the plane’s equipment options have the switch be in auto instead of off then you don’t have to touch it for takeoff/landing/anti-ice

btw if the start switch is in auto then iirc it runs cont if flaps are extended and also if anti ice is on, but most 737s as far as I can tell do not have this option
