787XH Not meeting waypoints

Hi guys, still learning as always. I've noticed the 787 isn't meeting the waypoints before moving on to the next one. Is this to do with bank angle?

You mean that it's not directly flying straight over the top of the waypoint?

You can see in the screenshot it wants to go to LAAYK before getting to the one before?

So that's called turn anticipation, an aircraft needs a certain radius to turn, it can't turn on a dime, so it has to start the turn before getting to the waypoint by some margin

Ok thank you, is that also involved with what bank angle limit i have set under HDG selector?

You can force it to fly over the top of the waypoint as a procedure designer, but that would mean that it would fly over, then have to turn back to join the course, which is a detour that would cost a bunch of time, thus money

No, that only affects the bank limit in HDG SEL and TRK SEL modes
