#I DONT UNDERSTAND AC MIRAGE GIVE SPOILERS

Nehal is the ghost of Loki's memories in Basim. Basim is the reincarnation of Loki. Loki was imprisoned in Alamut by Odin. Loki has trauma from that, which is the djinn in his dreams. Loki escaped and uploaded his DNA to Yggdrasil, the supercomputer, which made him reincarnate among humans as Basim.
So what is loki
Wait so
Why did odin trap him
Is loki bassim
Whats his role in vallhalla
Loki and Odin were Isu. Basim is Loki's reincarnation.
Odin locked him up because they were feuding. Odin punished Loki's son Fenrir preemptively because he saw a prophecy that Fenrir would kill him, so Loki poisoned Odin's son Baldr in retaliation, and eventually Loki was imprisoned.
Plus it was the actual mythological story
Generally
Odin locking Loki up that is
Eivor and Basim are what's called Sagas, a reincarnation of an Isu (The ones who came before) as humans
Eivor is Odins sage, and Basim is Lokis, that's why Basim attacks you at the end of Valhalla. By the end of Mirage, the Loki persona is all that's left, so he's already full Loki when you meet him in Valhalla
It's not that simple really, to say he's plainly bad would simplify the situation far to much. He's an antagonist, not a villain. (There is a difference lol)
He's actually alive in the modern day due to the Staff Layla gets in Odyssey
Wait so hes immortal
Is bassim loii or bassim
And whaats isu
@sonic lichen
Isu have been in the franchise since the 2nd game, they're the precursors to humans, in fact they made humans in the AC lore
You majority play as Basim, but by the ending cutscene he's become the Loki persona
So basically gods
I dont understand
No, not technically, they're seen that way by humans but they're mortal
Idk how to better explain it my friend
Whats persona mean
And is bassim dead and loki just takes over
And is loki/bassim immortal
He is now that he has the staff. And yeah, Basims persona is basically overridden by Lokis
So they are both in the body sharing?
Or combined
I guess combined, the cutscene kinda suggested a merging
So they are both alive
And whats the chamber loki went in
And killed someone in
@sonic lichen
Sorry man, I gotta go, I can’t keep answering everything
Alr ty tho
There are outside sources like the AC wiki if you truly want to understand more of the AC lore. Either that, or play the games from the beginning of the series. Asking things like who are the Isu can be answered if you play the earlier games. Or look up videos by Access the Animus, they have a ton of lore information out there. Assassin’s Creed has been around since 2007, so there’s a lot of history. It’s all very interesting if you take the time with it.
I have played ac 2
I forgot like everything tho
I dont think i understood it
Also u seem to know alot about
other assassin’s Creed games what assassin Creed games have a good story not too long like Mirage and assassin‘s Creed two that has good graphics
Isu Mythology-gods created by Ubisoft
Hidden Ones, Templars, Abstergo Historical to modern day human organizations in conflict with opposing views on humanity. Created by Ubisoft
In real life, mythology is the religious structure of gods that people of the time adhered to.
AC Odyssey: Greek mythology gods are Ubisoft Isu. Poseiden, Zeus, Hades…
AC Valhalla and Mirage: Norse mythology gods, Aesir & Vanir, are Ubisoft Isu. Odin, Thor, Frigg, Freyr, Freyja, Loki, Baldur… and Norse mythology about Ragnarok. (God of War Ragnarok – Santa Monica Studios deals with Norse mythology and some Greek-Kratos in a different manner)
AC Valhalla and Mirage: Ragnarok: ||End times, doom of the gods, world reborn… Norse gods have a plan around Ragnarok, (Ydddrasil) to be reborn post Ragnarok. Loki subverts this plan to a point.||
You need to know some Norse Mythology and Isu-Ubi Norse mythology. ||Loki is reborn as/in Basim. Nehal is his split personality having to do with his long history with Odin, Ragnarok, etc. The name Nehal has some interesting origins and meanings in real life.||
Mirage is a prequel, not a sequel, to Valhalla, released after Valhalla was released. To fully understand Mirage & Basim, need to play Valhalla (100-200 hours), as most AC RPG players will say along with Ubi
AC games not released in real human history order. Odyssey is the first game in historical context. Play in release or historical order, your choice
Non RPG AC game are 2007-2017, pre AC Origins release ||(when the Hidden Ones are founded)||, and deal mostly with Hidden Ones and Templars
RPG games are Origins to Shadows with Odyssey, Valhalla dealing with Isu the most
As WhiteWolf says, a lot of AC lore (mythology) here to be learned and suggests the best sources. Game releases over 17+ years plus ~10 400 + page books to fill in the gaps, more lore.
No short games with good graphics like Mirage, next shortest with kinda modern graphics is Origins. Dig in and play what interests you is my tip
I would never recommend playing in "historical order" (Odyssey > Origins > Valhalla > AC1 > etc.)
That would be awful narratively and in gameplay evolution
Also, the Isu are not gods. They are an ancient race, very technologically advanced. Through the years, they are often perceived as gods because humans do not understand them, they don’t understand what they are seeing.
