#why do ac3's graphics look better than ac4's?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
lighting probably makes a big difference
AC3 released 2012 had a remaster released 2019. 4K textures, improved character models... AC4 released 2013 has not been improved upon nor a remaster. AC4 popular game and no updates is part of the speculation a remake for AC 4 is on the way, google it. https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/assassins-creed/assassins-creed-3-remastered
Are you playing AC 3 remastered or original AC3 ? Cause remastered has different lighting and textures than original also came out in 2019
OG AC 3 looks fantastic ngl
I prefer lighting and textures in remastered but character models in OG

I should have done this last year but only now have I found the time to do this video.

The video you shared was extremely noisy
AC 3 is more dark and realistich(ish), the textures are lower quality compared to 4, but the lighting makes it look better imo
This
Because AC III’s visuals—powered by the new AnvilNext engine—deliver crisper textures, improved character models and facial detail, more dynamic seasonal environments, and massive battlefields with thousands of NPCs, giving it a more grounded, realistic style
