Just finished a rerun of assassin creed brotherhood and really enjoyed it, however the gameplay and graphics haven't really aged well, so I'm looking for a more updated assassin creed to fill the urge of stealth assassinations, however I'm not really much of a fan of the newer gameplay such as Mirage, Valhalla, Odyssey or Origin. Also not a big fan of Ship Battle combat like Assassin Creed IV. Does anyone have any recommendation for a similar more updated game similar to the Ezio Trilogy?
#Recommendation for a modern graphic assassin creed game.

Unity/Syndicate are your best options then
How bad are the microtransaction in those? when I searched it up, it was one of the things I saw
not bad at all tbh. i dont remember noticing mtx at all in my unity play thru
U can complete the game without that
Both games are really good in their place
Just enjoy them!
How is the grind? I keep hearing conflicting things on that. Some way too grindy you get under leveled, others they didnt need to max grinf
Mmmm ok sounds like should maybe get it then. Was debating on getting this or waiting till Ubisoft makes another assassin creed like Ezio.
If you go coop, there’s actually things you have to level up, so for a while you’re only able to complete like 2-5 missions completely
But for combat, it was acceptable I think, didn’t need to combat damage sponges over and over again to level up things
the grind is good but at 4 stars u need all armor parts 5 stars to even get 5 stars
huh?
O are the enemies bullet sponges now?
They seem to be in the games after syndicate
Ah but unity is before syndicate so I don't have to worry
The skill tree in Unity is absolute a.s.s with the most basic actions locked behind skills you need to unlock. However if you're stealthy enough, there's no need to grind at all in all honesty since everyone is one stab away from kingdom come.
ngl your making this game sound like the dark souls of the series
that might be ac3, because you're playing against bugs and optional objectives that rely on those bugs not happening
playing unity i only saw 1 bug i was on a building then i randomly fell down even tho i pressed space and there was another building infront of me
It kinda is considering how barebone everything feels aside from parkour. It's by no account the worst of the franchise but it's definitely the reason the franchise got worse.
(Shooting guns is a skill you need to spend to acquire. Let that sink in)
nah unity was great u dont gotta get guns since its a solo player game u pick what u want to use
and guns are pretty op
Lmao what?
What do you mean you don't need guns?
It is such a simple thing that it doesn't require a literal skill point to use it
Just point it and shoot dammit, you're an assassin with a crossbow attached to your wrist, how much harder is shooting a pistol?
Also Unity was an incomplete mess, the only reason we're letting it go is because the newer games are abominations of stupidity.
Mmm ya I think I might have to get Unity when its on sale on steam then, since I don't think Ubisoft isn't going to go back to its routes. Well in terms of story writing and gameplay
Does anybody know when the next steam sale with Ubisoft?, plan on picking Unity up around then
