Hi,

As I'm replaying all the games, I noticed for some I'm missing some content:

  • Ac revelations, I have the standard edition and would probably need to buy the gold edition.

  • Ac rogue, I have the standard edition and would need to buy the digital deluxe.

  • Ac black flag, I have the standard edition and later bought the season pass. However, I'm missing the Aveline content. Would I need to buy the gold edition or does that also not include it?

What platform do you have the games on?

Ubisoft connect (PC)

For revelations, the extra content - Templar lairs, Lost Archives dlc, multiplayer, and possibly Desmond’s Journeys - it is no longer available. This online content was decommissioned in Oct 2022.
For original version of Rogue (not the remaster) I think it might be the same way. Any online or unlockable content is no longer available.
For Black Flag, the Aveline content is a 30 minute bonus mission. I do not believe it was part of the season pass. And recently, on PC, there have been reported issues with the season pass. Something about not being activated or not accessible.

What’s said above is partly true, I don’t know exactly about Ubisoft connect, but on Steam you can get the DLCs that are not available by themselves by buying the higher edition versions of the games

olive imp
#

There are reports about issues with Steam versions as well

rancid vortex
#

Let's hope they remaster them then like ACIII, because it sucks not having all the content

olive imp
#

The Ezio games and Rogue were remastered, but I think only on console.

#

Would be great to see these remastered with all content on PC for sure

I doubt that will happen, but I’d say your best bet if you want to give it a shot is Steam, I bought all the games on it myself with the highest edition available aside from Revelations, and they all gave me the extra content that was advertised. If you do buy it directly from Steam (which there is a sale currently) you will also get the games/content on Ubisoft Connect, if they don’t work you can refund them provided you have less than 3 hours of game time in them (on Steam that is)

I'll try with revelations first. That one is only sold as the standard edition on ubisoft connect store. For rogue ubisoft is selling both standard and deluxe.

When did you buy them on Steam? If you bought them and activated them before the decommissioning, that’s how you’re able to access the content. But I’ve seen reports that anyone buying the games after the decommissioning have not been able to access the content.

For ACII and brotherhood I found a guide to edit some files to unlock the content, but didn't find anything for other games

Ah, that I have no idea about as that’s getting into a gray area

#

Oh that question was for Cristo is a bot

Can’t hurt to try, sounds like it’s the only legit way to try anyways

#

It’s the binding into the Uplay account part that I think is what is tripping people up. I think all the “checks” are no longer happening with the older content.

strange ravine
#

That actually makes me think if you can refund them considering they get binded into your Uplay account, but it’s possible for every other game franchise so I doubt this one is an exception

I hope the older games are made available for everyone with all content in the future

#

Rogue and Black Flag are not part of the decommissioned products

strange ravine
#

Well aside from the online content,I know the uh lost archives one is still being sold on steam and works

azure carbon
#

I have the lost archives

#

It's in the Ezio collection (I have the disk on PS4)

olive imp
#

Yeah, it’s included and playable in the Ezio Collection for XB1 and PS4 and later consoles. Also, there’s a ton of content included for the Rebel Collection (Black Flag and Rogue Remastered) on Switch and not anywhere else

rancid vortex
#

So it actually worked for revelations. I now have the game twice in ubisoft connect, one marked as "owned on steam". If I launch that one it has the lost archive and the dlc outfits 🙂

#

Steam also took over my save file from my ubisoft connect version, achievements are shared between both as well.

#

Oh even better, if I launch my original ubisoft connect version without having steam open it's also showing the dlc content. So happy this worked 🙂

olive imp
#

Wonderful! I’m glad it worked for you too

#

Have you been able to access it? Might want to see if Lost Archives works.

#

There have been reports of showing it as owned yet not being able to access it

rancid vortex
#

I can check, but it's for sure showing in game on the main menu

#

The outfits are also in game in my inventory

olive imp
#

Cool, hoping the best for you

rancid vortex
#

Also got the rogue stuff now and 2 dlc for unity and 1 for syndicate.

#

The only thing I don't have is aveline dlc, but it's not mentioned in the gold edition page on steam

olive imp
#

Unity’s Dead Kings dlc is really good. What was the other thing you got for Unity?

rancid vortex
#

It was actually the secrets of the revolution and armaments pack, never realised one of them contained missions. Thought they were just weapon packs

#

Syndicate was the dreadful crimes pack

olive imp
#

Did you get the syndicate season pass which includes Jack the Ripper?

rancid vortex
#

Yes

olive imp
#

Nice

rancid vortex
#

Still contemplating whether I should get helix store gear in the rpg games

#

Those may add up to a lot more money than these few dlc's

olive imp
#

That’s up to you. I haven’t spent a dime in any game store, but that’s just what I prefer. There’s more than enough gear you can get for free in the game.
