Cannot open launcher normally. | Procelio Game | Page 1

I was using an old launcher originally, still on 1.2 trying to auto update to 1.4x
Only after failing to do so a few times I downloaded the new launcher. It works, but only if I run the .exe from command line. If i double click the icon, it loads for a while, then nothing happens. If I pin the game to my start menu and launch it from there, it appears there is a window pop up that cannot load.
I am on Windows 10

Nothing off the top of my head.

What path do you have the launcher in?
Any special system configuration that would cause problems with trying to read/write a small config file in AppData?

launcher is in a different drive than app data

i have it in my D drive, while AppData is in C

Try deleting these files and see if that fixes things -- you'll have to reselect the install path for the game, but maybe the settings file got corrupted somehow?

Could you try this debug build? It'll open a terminal window with some logging that I'm hoping will shed some light on the issue

no terminal openned

I'm trying to think of anything that might make it not work since I believe this is the first time we've seen this bug

I'll give it some thought -- in the meantime, hopefully the direct download link on the website should work (I know it works on my PC, but so does the launcher)

The launcher makes game updates faster/better (it can download a smaller patch file for updates) but other than that it's the exact same game files

can I get a launcher that perhaps outputs to a .txt? Maybe that can help diagnose things
