When activated, stationary sphere is created that cloaks all bots inside. Projectiles passing through would shortly disturb it's effect. Bots passing through wall of the sphere would disturb it for longer, or even shorten it's lifespan.
Of course, it would also need to have a subtle visual effect, examples: area being slightly darker than it should be, image being slightly delayed, having some kind of slight image distortion at the edges or just not fully hiding shadows of bots inside.

i feel like people could just bombard it, unless the sphere have the size of a capture point
I was thinking about something larger than a single bot, so multiple bots could potentially hide inside.
Also visuals should be barely noticeable
this thing can tell the enemy that there are some bots, but not where they exactly are
wait, this is exactly what smokescreen currently doing, except it does not block friendly bots view
basically a chameleon camouflage smokescreen, this thing is like a straight upgrade of smokescreen
existence of smoke is very noticeable
cloak field should be hard to notice
also I haven't seen anyone using smoke for some time
it would be a straight upgrade of smokescreen if we don't include enter/leave penalty and ability for enemy to disturb it when shotting at it
