There are two issues of it:

Stow the weapon will unload it with no post fire cooldown, while reload input unload do an 0.8x cooldown.
Press reload input to unload will cause "HOLD DOWN" label and sound, which it shouldn't since the weapon is in post fire cooldown now.

Both issues are shown in the same video attached to this post.
