Howdy y'all, so I an so sorry for this absolute stupidity you are about to witness.
Vortex version: Most recent 1.5.2
System: Steam Deck.
So I am new, like completely new to Linux, and working on modding New Vegas on my Steam Deck. Best part is I have ADHD and mild dyslexia so figuring out Konsole is a nightmare lol

Gave up on Mod Organizer 2 due to constant Winetricks errors I couldn't solve.

I pretty much figured out Vortex, and got New Vegas to load properly. I have the NVSE_Loader.exe, launcher, all the .exe files in the Gane directory, which is on the Deck's hard drive. Mods are in a separate directory but on the main drive as well. Added a copy of Steam.exe to the NV folder cause I was getting that 5:0000065634 error. Now it loads from Vortex.

Was also sure to verify file integrity, set NV to Proton, run the game, make sure it's patched with the 4GB patch, etc.

Vortex has successfully, installed, enabled, and deployed all mods. Or, so it says. When I run New Vegas, everything is completely vanilla. I can't find ANY answers, cause every thread online revolves around enabling but not deploying the mods. I have deployed, and double check the plugins every time. And was starting a new game, so no save file conflicts. Added Mod Configuration Menu to have a quick and easy way to see if Mods are deploying, but nothing is working and I can't find answers. Does anyone have any easy to follow ideas or tips, for a complete and total idiot?

Also, nvse_loader.exe can't find the FalloutNV.exe but they are both in the same exact directory, and the nvse log states it's looking through the correct folder. Please, I am so tired, I've spent literal DAYS trying to mod this game. It's not an instance of "just play vanilla" I HAVE played vanilla several times and verh specifically wanted to play in a new way, with new locations.

although it is rather weird that it's not finding the falloutnv.exe
