are you launching the game through the .exe file in its installation folder

unfortunately that's the extent of my knowledge for modding on this game

could someone jump in a call with me and help me get my mods working ive got most of them working but now its just the clothing i need help with because its not fully working because i can see the icon of the vest but when i put it on its some random vanilla vest
