#Moving Archives

I see that this is a hot topic on the boards here but I don't think this specific question was addressed yet. I have many GBs of mods on Vortex that I'm looking to move over to NMA. I followed the instructions here: https://nexus-mods.github.io/NexusMods.App/users/faq/MoveLibraryLocation/#moving-the-archives since I saw this linked in just about every post about this. Now to my question...

The guide says to ONLY move .nx files, but actually none of my current mods on vortex are .nx files. They're all compressed (.zip mainly) files. Do I need to extract all of those and move those over or can I move the compressed files? Also, before I knew this was possible, I did install some mods (not duplicates of what's on Vortex) to NMA and they went to the default location, so I want to go ahead and move those over to the new location too. In that folder it is about 99% .nx files, but there are a small number of .tmp files. Given the explicit ".nx Files Only" on the guide, I assume I leave those where they are, but double confirmation on that wouldn't hurt. haha

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks! I saw this solution offered to someone else, but this doesn't really address what I'm asking. I don't have room on my computer to install everything all over again (this was what I'd tried first before coming here) and I'd much rather not remove everything to make room to and then download it all again. Not only do I have very slow internet, but if for some reason something should get messed up, I'd have no back up (other than the collection on nexus) or alternative. I'd have to dig around and put a lot of time into getting back to where I was given there's over 1k mods I'm looking to move over.
