When was this and have yo uclosed vortex in the last hour and relaunched it ?There was an issue with the servers they jsut resovled around 9:45

No i have retried since vortex got back up. And that issue with everyone was about linking your account in which it would give you the error 403 thing. My issue is that I cant launch the game. I think the issue is that it wont launch since i have not verified steam files...but it wont let me lol
also this mod, overstrike, is like the main mod i needed to download from nexus for spiderman mods to work. but whenever i click install at the bottom right, it gives me this error

Probably, make sure the mods are being downloaded to the same drive as the game

It says your issue right there. COULD NOT FIND FILE....it is looking for Spiderman 2 in your steam/steamapps/common folder. Is this the steam version of spider man or a pirated version?

When you install vortex it asks you to set the path for your game directories. if you jsut click,click,click,click it assumes it is in C: in Steam/common/steamapps/Marvel Spiderman
As C-Steam is it's default target.
So open your GAMES tab in Vortex, look for the hamburgler (3 dots, I kid) and change the directory here

Ok, verify your game files in steam. You are missing the TOC file, Table of contents file. See if it DLs that, if it does, relaunch your vortex and see if you can verify files
Your path was fine. I confused seperate issues and responded to yours with half of your issue and an issue another person had relating to paths. Your issue is you need a missing file that comes with steam.
