#Vortex Suggestion - Mod Synchronization Across Multiple PCs

I don't think this will be coming to vortex, as it's already being depricated in favor of Nexus Mods App.
Even then, they probably wont add it, since collections exist.
Not with that attitude.
I'm not sure how the feature would even work
at best, they might be able to have your profile show the archives but you'd have to reinstall all the mods
that or the collections
once vortex is depricated and the community continues development on vortex, it might become a thing. But the chances are astronomically low of that even being possible. Holding as much data as some people's modlists hold, there's not really any "good" way of sharing that data across multiple devices, especially if they're a far distance away.
and what I mean by "collections exist" is you can just publish your modlist as a collection, download it on another device, and then mod from there, and repeat that cycle or something.
There are things to consider such as high bandwidth & server costs, having to host potentially terabytes of mods per user would cost Nexus a ton, especially if people expect this for free. Then there is security & permissions, mods with licensing restrictions may not allow cloud storage, redistribution, or multi-device sync. There are many reasons why it wouldn't work simply put. That’s why Little Pooh is right, it’s not real-time sync, but it avoids legal and infrastructure hurdles.
