#Where does Nexus-Mods store mods

While I can't answer your main question, I'd recommend not using Cybercmd at all, since there's a high likelyhood that you have mods that require Red4ext, which supersedes it (see Cybercmd mod description and sticky post).
The downloads are stored in Local App Data. You cannot change it in the current release, but it is a planned feature.
how about for the linux version? The program wont let me delete mods through it.
I just downloaded the latest version with the ability to move the storage location.
I moved the data to my X Drive (iSCSI Game drive)and restarted the app.
However, the original location is what still shows in the app settings.
I confirmed that the mods work and have been moved.
I then updated a few mods and it crashed when I tried to apply.
I moved the files back and without making any settings changes, it worked fine.
Hmm this feature hasn't been given a lot of testing as it's so new so I'll see if we can replicate it @frosty pivot FYI
Also as updates were involved @urban oriole
Unrelated to updates.
Archive file locations and configured locations simply didn't match.
Any idea why? Spudman seems to have done the required steps (set location, manually move existing files, restart app)
However, the original location is what still shows in the app settings.
If I were to wager a guess, either:
- They closed the App before hitting Apply (Settings)
- The App didn't save the new setting due to a bug.
- Including possibility of it being reset at startup.
ARGH.. My BAD!!
I did not see the "save" button in the lower right to apply the folder name change.
What a gonk 😉
I redid it with saving the changes and moving the files.
All good as I can enable/disable apps with applying and NO errors
New location confirmed changed.
Great! I'll share your feedback around not knowing you had to click save with the designers.
