i bought oblivion remastered recently, but, unfortunately, my hardware is just not good enough to get the experience i want. i also own the 2009 goty edition and was wondering if i could mod it so it's a viable alternative to the remaster (or at the very least more modern feeling in terms of qol and graphics). i know next to nothing about oblivion modding, so any information would be greatly helpful.

I can't imagine the old version would be able to get anywhere near the remaster, there's just too many things that are updated. If you can run Skyrim, you might just want to wait for the release of Skyblivion which should be released later this year with hope
