modded skyrim disabled my mods

ok so i uninstalled a single mod and now my skyrim has disabled all my mods in creation menu and when i try to re enable them all it just crashes what do i do?

what mod did you uninstall? you shouldn't be using the creation menu when modding 🙂

I wasn't I just had some pre installed creations and everything was fine till I uninstalled a mod for le I installed on accident called horse armor was for a shadoemere replacer

When I load skyrim it says I'm missing all my mods then crashes and when I googled the issue it said to re enable them in creations menu

Won't mention much more as there's a bunch of 18+ mods installed also not today though

Bit weird, but definitely make sure you check what you're downloading. LE mods will always crash SE

Could a simple reinstall and or verify files fix this maybe

If you do a reinstall, you'll have to download all of your mods again and start a new save. Make sure when you've downloaded SKSE and you're using MO2, you're running SKSE through MO2 and not running Skyrim or from some other source, like Steam

I'm not using mo2 I'm using vortex tho

i have tried litterally everything i could i'm just going to do a complete fresh install but i did save my mods in a bckuo folder they should still work or should i fresh install them also if so that's gonna be a pain

no, it doesnt, just purge first, then close vortex, THEN reinstall game and open vortex ONLY after the game is fully loaded/installed to the drive so vortex will see it

but yee, in genenral, if you got mods, avoid creation club like its a hitman trying to end you
