App not detecting mods and SMAPI

When I start my Stardew Valley game via the app, it suggests me to download SMAPI and none of my installed mods appear on the mod page. When I start the game via the app, it works with SMAPI and it loads all my mods but the mods do not appear in the app and SMAPI cannot be detected

Have you actually installed SMAPI with the app? This may correct the issue you're having.

Also check "External changes" because if you started with an unclean game folder there may be stuff in there that needs removing

Ok so you added the app on top of existing mods. You probably need to remove anything SMAPI related from there and use the one installed by the app.
