Ice Texture Issue

I'm looking for some help identifying what's happening to the ice/glaciers in my game. I am seeing this weird texture issue where some of the ice is appearing purply, like it's missing a texture. It still reflects light properly, I'm just confused as to what's happening here.

As you can see, the console is not telling me much about what mods might be responsible. I have filtered my load order to look for mods that have textures and I've not been able to find the culprit after disabling/enabling anything that seems to affect snow, ice, or glaciers. Just wondering if anyone has seen this and can help me troubleshoot:

It looks like the ice/glacier textures are missing or being overwritten by another mod. The purple tint means the diffuse texture is likely missing, but reflections still work because the normal/specular maps are intact.

Quick Fixes:

1. Check for Missing Files – Ensure the glacier texture .dds files exist.

2. Mod Conflicts – Disable other texture mods to find the culprit.

3. Mesh Path Issues – Use NifSkope to check if the mesh is pointing to the right texture.

4. ENB/Shader Conflicts – Disable ENB effects and test.

5. Load Order & Overwrites – Use MO2/Vortex to check what’s replacing your textures.

I had a similar issue with mod added locations that came with their own snow and ice and the mod Skyrim remastered Glaciers and Ice IMR edition .

IMR was trying to change the location added snow and ice and it looked blue and purple hued. Ended up ditchign the ice 😉

Here's a screenshot of Winterhold without any mods loaded in. This was after I had the game files verified and it said it found 10 missing files and re-installed them.

It's affecting the ground in Markarth as well.

Ok scratch that- there was a couple mods on. I've determined it's something with Community Shaders. I've tried clearing some modules and I'm doing a reinstall now.

It's everywhere all of a sudden.

Ok. WHITE in 1 spot and PURPLE in the other is a conflict/lighting/ texture issue with an added mod OR with the base game where AN added mod is fine. Just helped another guy with the same issue and read his processes and my suggestions and where it finally fell, and see if it helps you, rather than me posting the exact same thing 12 hours after posting it ;P

Glad it worked out. Those visual things...pain in the butt and it can be sooooo many things. Glad it was an easy fix and not a load order ferret 😉
