For context, my game was perfectly fine until I started the forsworn conspiracy quest. Once I got to the end of the quest, going to jail I would talk to warren then crashes. I roll back avoiding the quest but now I crash once I take carriage to another hold. (After Loading screen) If anyone has any input on this I'd love the help. P.S I used Vortex 🥹

Updating your mods mid playthrough will cause crashes most of the time. Also removing mods or changing loadorder. Did you use clean loading? Otherwise Skyrim likes to carry over things into another save and break it this way. Also quicksaves are a crash wish due tot hem not being full saves.

When you die and load a save without restarting the game Skyrim will take things from your old save into the one you're loading. This leads to problems over time. Another great feature from Bethesda
